read wrong...manually UNlock as in sit inside the car, use the key fob to arm system and wait few secs for red light on dash to blink slowly. Then reach over and pull up on the door lock knob.

UPDATE: I noticed the bulb in the drivers side door was blown, I replaced it with another peanut bulb and it works now! I guess that bulb completes a circuit or something with the door lock and oem alarm

hey elitecm'ers

Car is a 2005 coupe V6; I have an issue with my oem alarm...when it's armed and the door is manually unlocked the alarm does NOT go off.

Any ideas on what can cause this?

We have a 2004 LX Sedan, and when the door is manually unlocked the alarm goes off.

my family's 2004 LX sedan, lowered on HFP Suspension (4cyl application) with Acura CL-S rear sway (19mm) and the OEM 6spd 17" wheels off my coupe.

no other major mods planned, maybe tint and front spoiler (if I can find it) and color matched rocker panels.

Quote from: "Asim"
I like, the rim right to the fender, not sticking out any further, without a stretched tire, (I love squared off tires)

that to me is ideal or my idea of "flush"

agreed, or if at most, sticking out just ever so slightly with a touch of camber (i.e. Ken's set up on his TSX Asim)

just enough to fill the wheel wells with no issues with rubbing or turning full lock

silly kids in Cali with ther stupid definitions on what is "flush" and what will "fit"....I wonder what the next fad will be

I normally order from College Hills Honda as they have no issues shipping to Canada. Great experience with cheaphondaparts (San Francisco Honda) as well - I agree with Paul, always nice to speak with someone over the phone that actually knows something!

with RPF1 it's more function > form.

wheels are very light for a cast wheel.
10  Suspension & Handling / Wheels & Tires / Re: wheel spacers - yay or nay? on: November 09, 2009, 07:55:36 PM
ended up getting new wheels with lower offset - I've got my wheel spacers up for sale

won't be running the new wheels until the spring, i'm on my winter steelies and tires for the rest of the year.

here's a quick shot on how the new wheels sit....

heard that Honda will bring the Euro Accord Tourer over to North America and sell it under the Acura brand as a TSX wagon

if they do I'm going to convince the wifey to get rid of her Mazda 3 sedan so we can move up into this and pimp it out with JDM parts...LOL

15  Suspension & Handling / Wheels & Tires / Re: winter tire selection, narrower is better on: October 29, 2009, 10:27:28 AM
narrow tires is good, even better with a higher sidewall - the flex in sidewall helps traction as well.

i'm running 205/60/16 Toyo GO2+ winters on steelies - by far the sickest winter tire for canadian winters I've had
they are a little on the noisy side due to the chunkier tread design, but man they grip like a mutha fukka!
