Doing good here guys, been quite a while since I've been on here. Thankfully I haven't gotten the virus yet, but at the rate Florida is going it's only a matter of time.

Got myself a project car in the meantime, been fixing her up:

My first V8, manual, and RWD car. Vroom vroom!

A year or so ago I got a 2012 Acura TL Tech FWD 6AT. The auto tranny is a bit janky sometimes, but otherwise I love the car. It has the shitty stock Michelin MXM4's on it though, so it's insanely easy to peel out, even with TCS on.

I creepily walked around the block after work at 2am the other day while playing Pokemon Go. Caught like 20 pokemon, and got some exercise! Now I'm typing this post while eating Taco Bell.

Man, the Good Will is going to become bone dry from all the new pants I keep buying after seeing your pics, Tim. Are those multiple crankcase vent hoses on the valve cover? I don't recall seeing so many, but it has been a year or so since I've had the Accord, so my memory could be foggy.

Steam Controller is on sale for $35 at Gamestop:

This thing is pretty badass. I wouldn't say it's ideal for FPS games, but it's definitely a revolutionary controller design. You can also control your mouse with the touchpads, kind of like a laptop. All of the buttons are fully customization to do whatever the hell you want too.

Been working on making this happen over the past few days.

Yeeeeeah buddy! Just curious, what's that clacking sound in the beginning of the video?

Goddamnit Enterprise. I got my free rental car from them on Saturday because my TL has the Taketa airbag recall, and there's definitely something wrong with the 2016 Hyundai Sonata they gave me. When I pushed the pedal past a certain position it would immediately stop accelerating and just hold at 3,500RPM, like some kind of limp mode. I take it back to them and they're just like "did you have it in the right gear?" Fucking trolls. Turns out it was a failed "variable charge motion actuator" in the intake manifold. Now I'm in a 2016 Nissan Altima. Not bad for an economy car, but now I think I'm at an even higher risk of dying due to the CVT being extremely sleep-inducing...

I'm here. i've been busy the last few hours driving a C7 ZO6 with the top down Flippa! Grin. Holy crap, for the beast that it is, it's actually easier to drive than my Accord. Put it sport mode heard the change in the tone of the exhaust and just grin. I missed shifted going from 4th and ended up in 7th and couldn't tell until i saw it in the heads up display. You can actually talk to a passenger with the top down at highway speeds. Only fault I could find is the same with most new cars, poor visibility. The humps of the front fenders actually hinders your view of each corner of the car.

Then I had to drive a Corolla back to work Sad
I'm super jelly. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a C7 Z06 for a free rental while I wait for the airbag parts to come in for my TL's recall...

Realistically I'll probably end up having to squeeze my fat ass inside a Corolla too.  Cry

Basically the site's database got clogged up with a shitload of logs. Those logs made the database go over its quota and lock us out. I deleted about 80MB's worth, so now all is well.

Why hallo thar everyone!

Just recently closed on my first house. Pretty exciting stuff. I'm quickly learning the financial pains of owning one, that's for sure.

Best part is, now I can keep my car away from those goddamn door-dinging asshats!

Congrats Jeff! It's a great feeling when you get that piece of paper in your hands man. How the hell did you pull off not having any student loans?
Essentially my family's business went to shit, so I got paid to take classes through scholarships and financial aid. It all works out in the end.

Annnnnnnnd I'm done! Finally got my mechanical engineering degree after 5 years. No student loans to pay off, and I've already gotten a job as a manufacturing engineer. Time to let the dough start rolling in!

Man it feels good. Almost as good as lurking around here making people question my existence, muahahaha!
