1  Electrical / Headlights, Tail Lights, HID's, LED's, & Other Lighting / Re: Angel Eyes Help on: October 08, 2009, 11:09:44 PM
I have no problem with negative feedback...not everyone likes the same things. I didn't join the forum to be accepted...I joined to learn. Contrary to what you might believe halos come stock on other cars other than BMW's because of their popularity with consumers. I got many comments on how good they look already and have never thought of myself as being someone who was trying to turn my daily driver into a show car. I thought the whole point of doing shit to your car was to get attention but maybe that's just me. From what i see people put a lot of time and effort into making their cars into show cars and granted some are outrageous, but most are very beautifully constructed and style and taste are two of the most important things that go into their owners decisions. Maybe you should be more considerate to people in your forum who don't necessarily have the same style you do but definitely share the same passion if not more for their car. Their are a lot of people on THIS forum who have halos or want halos judging by the PM's so before you start calling people wannabes you might want to think about others on the site. Its all good though...ill take your advice...

I definetely have the will to do it. I called DDM tuning to see if their LED replacements would work but the dude told me they wont. Im opening them up tonight to get a measurement of the diameter and then i guess ill have to do some google'ing to try and find a site that sells replacements.

7  Electrical / Audio Systems / CD Changer Help!! on: August 10, 2009, 04:36:43 PM
Hello all...About 3 weeks ago I noticed that my cd changer wasn't ejecting reading or loading any cds. It doesn't even respond when I press the Cd player button. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. What made it stranger is I recently took a trip up to canada and my cousin has the same problem with his car and it happened to him about a month ago. I did some research and found a TSB out on it.

Honda TSB #03017

When I called American Honda the girl said that this wasn't an issue and that was just a code for the technician so that he would not have to troubleshoot anymore and it would not be covered under warranty.

I had my whole unit replaced already about a year ago for the backlit problem so this is really starting to irritate me. I was just curious to know if anyone had this issue and if it was taking care of for free or not.
8  Electrical / Alarms, Wiring, Harnesses, & Other Electrical Upgrades / Re: Viper 791xv Replacement Pager on: June 10, 2009, 05:32:38 PM
That would be greatly appreciated...I'm waiting on the pagers to come to read the instructions but i just wanted an idea if it was hard or not...shops around my way are charging 100 bucks to do this and of course I don't want to pay if its something simple to do.

I recently just ordered two pagers for my alarm:

My question is does anyone know how to recode the pagers to correspond with your alarm. I wasn't sure if it might be the same procedure for any alarm. Thanks in Advance for any help.
10  Suspension & Handling / Wheels & Tires / Re: AXIS ELITES!!! on: May 23, 2009, 10:47:40 AM
Great Site....Put in the numbers and came up with this
Suspension   Package is 10 mm (0.4'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Acceptable for most cars.
Fenders   Package will stick out 30 mm (1.2'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset.
Wheelwells   Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 25 mm. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider lower profiles or smaller rims.

# Diameter: 19"
# Width: 8.0"
# Bolt Pattern: 5 x 114.3
# Offset: +45
# Color: Matt black center with machine accents
# Tires: Falken FK 452
# Size: 245/35/19

I found these specs on the rims....What would I have to do to make these work??

These rims in my opinion would look so good the only problem is that their 420.00 a piece  . Anyone know of any sites or shops around the nyc area with some sort of a deal.
