Title: Bellon Voltage Stabilizer Whats your .02?
Post by: thisaznboi88 on April 18, 2010, 07:26:21 PM
Well my friend let me borrow his Voltage stablizer. I been looking at some review and it seems like a joke. 25% increase in power?? wtf. So I just wanted to get your guys opinion on it. I know some of you guys are running ground wirings + a voltage stabilizer so please give me your .02

Here a pix of what he bought. I think I am just going to give it back to him. I don't want to risk damaging my poor baby

Yes, that is a blatant lie.  You will NOT get a 25% increase in power with a voltage stabilizer.  Honestly, it really won't do much for engine performance at all.  It will probably make a small difference if you have a huge stereo system and other electronic upgrades.  It's just a bank of capacitors, which will resist changes in voltage and keep it consistent.

yeah. Sucks for him he spent 50 on it.. I told him he might have just used that money and got good grounding wires. Thanks for your .02 Tim. It is greatly appreciated.

Just looking at it. it looks like a toy with 3 banks of capacitors. and a LED for the voltage.

That's all it is.  You're better off doing the big 3.  Upgrade your battery grounds, your engine grounds, and the power wire from your alternator to your battery.
