nice numbers! i could see the trans holding you back a bit. i would assume that if you did the exhaust, and trans swap you'd be in the 160 range. maybe even 170. then even higher with K-Pro!

btw di you have a stock exhaust?

19  K Series Performance / Engine and Drivetrain Performance / Re: The TSX 6MT swap thread on: September 25, 2009, 11:19:45 PM
well what im trying to figure out is if we could take the internals from the RSX-S trans, and throw them into our trans case in place of the stock gears?
20  K Series Performance / Engine and Drivetrain Performance / Re: The TSX 6MT swap thread on: September 25, 2009, 01:06:01 PM
now this being a swap thread for the tsx 6spd, can we swap ratios from other K series transmissions? say take the ratios from the RSX-S or new Civic Si and put them into our trans case?

lol i dont think you should take it off. no need to be doing 130mph on a regular highway. but yeah doing that on an untuned engine could have ended bad.

130 with the pedal half way? how quickly did it make it to 130?

i run 87 now, but i've kept a spreadsheet of my mileage at each fill ups for the past year. for half of that year i was using premium, 93. there was a slight increase with the use of premium at first, but over the course of time, and when i placed mods onto my car(pulleys first, then TSX IM) there were increases as well. but the best mile i have ever gotten in my car, was with regular, 87. 34.43 mpg, changed the oil and put the cold air intake back on.

its all about driving style with MPG. yes some mods help increase mileage, but they also help decrease the mile.

in my mind, not enough of a difference with the smoothness of the engine, and mileage increases with premium to keep running it. not to mention it costs more, at least $.30 more around here.

That's because we're "special."

lol you wouldn't happen to know if it makes a difference would ya? on ebay the ETD for our cars is 160 shipped, while i found a TSX ETD for 140 buy it now or best offer...so trying to figure out how much of a difference there is between the two...if any.

so why does the accord's mount have 4 holes, while the TSX's mount has 2? the bracket that goes near the top of the front strut.

that is some sick output. but im pretty sure that pictures cannot do it justice. even though the pictures themselves are very very good shots. can you turn just one set of projectors on(ie. just the TSX projectors, or just the FX projectors)?

I know a shop in the bx but i forgot the address i wanted to black out my pillars with paint but not sure if anyone tried that way before

i dont know if i'd get them painted. the smell could stick into your cars carpets and headliner and that wouldn't be pleasant to smell every time i got into the car. look at getting suede or some other type of cloth upholstery.
