I'm just looking into this to add it to my "future mod's list" I love the way that the tail light's look in the 06-07 coupes but, my assumption is that it will require changing the rear bumper, tail lights, and trunk lid? Is this possiable, or am I getting into to much work?

I believe for the most part that's all you need. It's not too much work, just a good amount of cash. There's been several people that have done that but I think most were already going in for accident repairs so they probably made out with having to fork out either a lil or no cash.

I was thinking it was going to be a little pricey.

^ It depends on where you get the parts from though.  If you could find most of them used that'll save ya a good amount.

Tony (HonGda) and Brian (NexeN) has done it. It does get pricey, and the real hard part is that the 06-07 taillights are LED. So, you would have to figure out a wiring schematic to wire up your LEDs from your stock harness.

My man Tim!!! I'm actually speaking with someone about purchaseing the conversion complete. If the price is right I might be on it. That would also give me an excuse to paint it.

I could help anyone who couldn't figure that out. In the 06-07s its basically just two plugs instead of 3 or whatever the 03-05 coupes have.

Top plug is the turn signal bulb, two wires, Turn Signal Positive and Ground.

Bottom plug is a only a little more complicated. 4 Wires. Parking Light Positive, Brake Light Positive, Reverse light Positive, and Ground.

The LED controller only controls the parking/brake lights since that's the only thing the LEDs are used for. When the parking lights are on they will light up to half brightness and when you hit the brakes they will light up at full brightness

I can post pictures of how the wires are connected to the plug if needed.

If I pick up this 06 EX-L cool blue metallic coupe I am looking at Mike, I will test fit the rear lip onto the Hawk and post it on here. Although this is the full conversion thread, it may behoove some members to just convert the rear lip.

I like both versions.  If I had the opportunity to get it done because of an accident or something like that I would. Other than that it's a lil too much work and money IMO to make my car look like the stock version of the same car just newer.
