Since it never worked out last year, I'm going to give it another try for this summer.  This will be a weekend thing.  If you can only show up for one day, that's cool, but you're welcome to come out for both.  If anyone is interested in flying out, Dayton Airport is the closest.  I can probably accommodate about 8-10 people at my place as long as some of you bring sleeping bags.  There are also a few hotels just down the street from my place.  It's first come first serve to crash at my place, but people traveling from far away will get priority.

We can keep it mellow and just hang out all day Saturday and then go for a cruise later at night.  On Sunday, we can do whatever too.  There are plenty of museums and other cool things to do in the area.

Here's what I have as far as sleeping arrangements.  I have a guest bedroom with a queen size bed, and I would guess and say 2 more people could crash on the floor in that room if they want.  In my office, I have a futon that 2 people can share.  Only 1 person would be able to fit on the couch in my living room, but there's plenty of room on the floor for those that want to bring sleeping bags.  I also have an air mattress somewhere that people can use.

The hotels in my area are around $100 a night.  The lowest price I've seen is $60, but I wouldn't stay there. 

I will need a little time to recover from the Cedar Point trip.

The dates you currently have listed refer to Sunday/Monday for those weekends.

Anyway. I was talking with country, and he was mentioning sticking around a few extra days on his way back from his vacation. How many people are able to make it the weekend of May 25-26?

Memorial Day weekend would work better for me. I can visit my mother too.

I totally understand.  You guys can vote for 2 different weekends BTW.  At the same time, if there are 2 separate dates that are a few weeks apart, I can always host 2 smaller meets.  It would be great to get everyone out here at once, but it would be cool to have more than one meet.

Had to change my vote since I have a graduation to attend that weekend...Honestly, I can probably attend any weekend except memorial day weekend.

That all depends on what you would want to do out here.  We have a bunch of cool shit out here.  There are 2 big amusement parks, the National Air Force Museum, and some other cool shit.  Up in MI there's the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.

I'm not voting because I don't want to lock someone else into a day that may not work for them.  I should be able to work my schedule around any date.  

Hmm.. sounds like a trip where I should plan on bringing my camera..

I can't vote yet either, and mostly because I can't predict my work schedule that far out yet..  I also need to figure out which weekends fall on my typical off friday, so I wouldn't have to use up as much PTO..

Well, most people don't want to commit for some reason.  I say, take your vacation and roll out here Memorial Day weekend.  There's going to be people here no matter what.

Well, so far the only people that I know are definitely coming out are Country, Bobby, and Chris.  Ben is a maybe, and I believe that's it.  Chime in if I forgot you or you aren't coming.

I'm definitely not going. Can't take the time off. I typically go to Kentucky for Memorial Day but with our two week vacation in June, I've got zero time off.

I don't think I can do Memorial Day weekend, but Tim, I'm still planning on passing through your area in mid-June because I'm still heading out West.  I still don't have a def. day though just yet...sorry.  However, if all goes as planned, I'm leaving RI either 6/13 or 6/14.
