How To: Cabin Air Filter
«

Here will be a DIY on how to change your cabin air filter. This an easy do it yourself, and there is no tools required.
Now, lets begin.
Open your glove box.
Disconnect the glove box dampener.
There are 2 tabs on the side of the glove box. Press the sides together and let the glove box fall down.
Locate the cabin air filter cover and remove the cover.
Remove the tray and discard the old filter.
Identify the correct flow of the filter to the tray.
Place filter in the tray and place the tray back into its place.
Push glove box back into its place and reconnect the glove box dampener
Close your glove box and call it a day.
I hope this helps anyone with changing their cabin air filter.

I'm glad I figured out how to do this myself. A shop wanted $40 just to have it installed. Screw that. DIY FTMFW!

Just to let you know, this wasn't my car. This was a customer's car who wanted his cabin filter changed along with some other work.
