Handbrake/Rear brake issue

Ok, so this started happening about a month ago and now it just became a horridly annoying issue.
If i get in my car after it has been standing for a bit, I put it in to drive, and it does not move. I give it some gas, it starts moving and the most horrid squeeking noise i have ever heard comes from the rear right drum of the car, before, i noticed that it got stuck and then let go, now it is always pressing down and dragging my car to the right when I drive. I am assuming it is a spring or some hardware issue but I want your opinion before taking it to my mechanic(I don't want to fiddle with those stupid drum brakes b/c i might not be able to put them back together).

Do you pull your parking brake up each time you park? It may very well be a bad spring, but I'm not too sure. I'm really not good with armchair diagnosing. I'm better when its actually in front of me.

No, I have an auto sadly, it started happening after an oil change. I am assuming it's a bad spring and am hoping that it's not anything more serious. Dammit, now i have to deal with that and all that glass from an exploded light bulb in my headlight.. ahhh

I hate rear drum, but it seems like that spring on the e-brake/handbrake has worn out and stretched to where it stays partially engaged, or you need to adjust your rear brakes.

Apparently my Handbrake cable suffered some minor damage, which was keeping the right side engaged at all times. This also lead to my right side's pads being badly worn. So I ordered a new cable from Honda and some pads as well.
