Title: Flywheel Skipping / Vibrations
Post by: gargantula99 on December 31, 2013, 09:54:52 AM
So I'm noticing that I'm starting to get a really bad vibration coming out of first gear. I really think it's the flywheel that's skipping.  Is there anyway to fix this issue without replacing the clutch?

Sell the car at a deep discount... You sure its the fly wheel? Is it only first gear?

It's first and sometimes third but definitely noticeable in first.  It happens on clutch release only and I think it depends on outside temperature but I'm not sure.  It's definitely more noticeable during colder weather and happened about 75% of the time yesterday. I'm 99% sure that's what it is.

I would sell it if somebody ever decided they wanted to take a drive to NY.

Doubt it can be done without pulling the clutch and all. Just take $1k off the asking price ;)
