Its turbo just keep the RPMS low and you will be fine...

It's not that much. I drove a boosted STI putting 350hp to the wheels. Whatever you do, don't pop the clutch and try to light up all four tires. The owner doesn't like that for some weird reason.

As far as turbo cars that make a good amount of power, I have to agree with Mike. As long as you keep the revs low and stay out of boost, they're pretty tame. The only problem that I have with turbo cars is when you cross over from vacuum to boost, it can be fairly sudden and unexpected. That's when it get's a little hard to handle.

Sorry, what I meant by boosted is that he was pumping, i think, 18psi out of the turbo, as opposed to what I recall being the stock 12psi. There were other elements involved as well, like a bigger down pipe and exhaust and what not. Again, my apologies.

That's exactly what happened to me. Being that I wasn't used to that and his clutch.

I have to go look at a 2005 Camry tonight probably going to buy it for me or the women. It's got 27,000 miles and was owned by an old couple my mother works with. I figure I can't pass it up for 7k?

She needs a new car more than I do.. But, it seems like she doesn't want it. She finishes school in May, and her Dad or I have always bought or given her cars so she has this thing where she wants to pick out her next car. Which I guess I can respect.
