My friend had a leased one. He did 60k on 5 oil changes. No problems with it during that time. I feel bad for the next person that owned that car though.

Why? because of the 12k OCI, or because how he drove it?  If it's the OCI, I would be curious to see a UOA of the oil.. I wouldn't be surprised to see that it's ok..  Honestly, 3k, even 5k mile OCI's are overkill..  I still do it though, lol..

I do 5k oci, its just easy to remember, I used to do 7.5k and was like a mindfuck, i could never remember . Haha. That is all.
