2003 Audi a4 1.8t Quattro with 100,000 miles. Always serviced by the dealer and new tires. Asking $4,500. Thoughts?

German cars are no fun to have repaired once they get

Thank you very much.
Most common issue I remember was coil packs at $180 each.

It's not new, yet your thinking about buying it? Anyone find this odd?

This one ain't for me it's for wifey and $4,000 isn't a big hit at all.
If I'm gonna sit there and go through the trouble of financing than I'm buying new.

I understand completely. Was only messing with you. Our Odyssey has 117k miles, will need axles within 25k miles, maybe more. Might trade it for a new or certified car. 22k+ miles a year, need something reliable.
Went to a car show today, having a project is an itch that I can't scratch yet, furloughs might be coming again in January. Wanting to mod my car too lol ClUsTeRFuCk!

I don’t know, something different. I may wind up getting a truck (90s F250 7.3L diesel). Just a plain standard cab to haul around a dirt bike for me and my son. I just want a diesel truck. I found a 2011 Jetta TDI wagon for the wife, she hates wagons but 18 versus 40+. And im paying the car note, soo.
That’s the plan anyways. Although, I wouldn’t mind a late 50s/early 60s bug. Found a bagged one on CL done up right actually. That'd be fun.
