my passenger side window makes a loud screeching noise when rolling down. yet the window goes up/down fine. its been like this for a few months. because of this i tend to not use that window much. but being the hot days are on the way. i need to get this fixed.

try some silicon spray on the track that cleared mine up

try to clean the track even as suggested by others that posted before me if you haven't yet and if you dont think so. I know I had that issue before and that was the solution for me also.

my back passenger window does the samething but not as severe as urs, but its been like that since day one when i first got it...go figure..

Clean the track and use some shin-etsu grease to lube it up.  That will clear up your problem.

i have some silicon spray with me. i will clean the track and spray some of that stuff on. if that doesnt work ill try to get me some grease.. thanx elite

I'd skip the silicone spray.  They use the shin etsu grease on the track from the factory, so there's no reason why you should do otherwise.

I second Timmy's remedy.  Shin-etsu grease is very persistant and will keep the track well lubricated.  If you have window tint and still experience a scraping noise, it's because you have particulates caught in the dew strip that are scratching against the tint.  The most common cause for squeaky windows is a poorly lubricated track.  Using silicone spray before the shin-etsu grease will decrease its effectiveness and should be avoided.  Use a small paint brush to slop the stuff inside the track and then wipe the excess away after cycling the window a few times.
