sorry for the noob question but what the difference betwwen double din and single din. and could you use a screen in the bottom while still having the functional oem cd player

Yeah I already asked him. As for the paint job his trying to go for the marble kinda look. I ono He needs a better camera cuz it looked like a painting fuck up.

Ohhh. That sucks. The only advice I can offer is try to modify the circuit board as little as possible. Good luck with that.

yeah I totally got you on that. I got a H/U for 20 bucks at the junk yard and I haven't had time to do anything else but take it apart.

Single DIN is what 95% of aftermarket head units are. The "DIN" is a standard dimension used when designing a head unit. If a unit says "single DIN", it will require a single DIN mounting kit. Double DIN units require a mounting system that has an opening twice as tall. Double DIN is twice the height of a single DIN. Double DIN units are usually designed as touch screen units with few exterior buttons.
