So, I went to put on my new license plate frame and the alan key for the bolts snapped... pos. They are the fancy ones with the peg in the middle so you cant use just any alan key. And Advance doesn't sell them anymore. Any body have any ideas how I can get these out? lol

Thats what my friend said I should use, but its not a TORX. Its just an alan key (flat edges) with a hole in the middle.

Removed the timing chain, tensioner, cams, and rockers. I got an early start on my valve spring upgrade, but had to stop because it was getting late and I didn't want to run the compressor.
Here's a few pics of the progress.
I'll try to get some pics of the valve spring upgrade since it's an involved process to swap from single valve springs to dual valve springs.

Drove it 1000 miles to Virgina. At the beginning of the drive, I removed my Inspire grille at 80 mph and smacked my windshield with it. Good thing it was a replica and only cost me $20. Guess I wasn't meant to have it.

Last night I finished my valve spring upgrade, dropped in new cams and a hybrid racing timing chain tensioner, then put everything back together. I also put the intake manifold back on and bolted the transmission on to the motor.
Today, I put the supercharger and wiring harness on the motor and dropped it in the car. After that I started working on getting everything hooked back up. Right now I have the fuel system, coolant lines, and power steering lines hooked up. Hopefully I'll be street tuning in a few days.
