I did the HVAC cleaning... It smells better anyhow.

How is this done?

Just parked mine at a friend's house for the weekend to attend his wedding.  Every bird in the neighborhood decided to crap on it.

As the title states let us know what you have done to your Gen7 today. Please post a unique project other than... ie: washing your Gen7 or driving it around.

I finally got around to changing my shifter assembly.

New shifter housing - CHECK
New CT Engineering SSK - CHECK
All cables bushings and other under console stuff - checked, lubed and clean.

It's amazing how filthy the area under the center console gets.

Will post my old assembly with SSK in the for sale section soon.

Still trying to fix that trunk leak...also thinking about how bad I want a manual transmission. I'm debating on what it should be...ideas?

1. 6-6 7.5gen
2. Civic Si Sedan
2. 6spd RSX
3. 6spd G35 Coupe (highly doubt it)
4. WRX
5. Mazda 3 Hatchback

I need reliability, smooth clutch (not stiff), and a warranty preferably. Budget will be about 15k OTD so I'm thinking 12.5-13k to spend on the car itself.

Anyone else have input. Will be the first stick shift car but I will have plenty of practice before then (probably year +)

I'd get the Accord or the Si.

Those are definitely the two I'm leaning towards.

The WRX I'm not feeling so much because of the turbo, might be a bit expensive to maintain, but its pretty quick and AWD.

Si is definitely a nice car, I've just heard about gear grinds and a lot of other crap about their transmission.

7.5gen is likely, except I'm not sure I can get one in warranty 2 years from now since 07s will probably no longer be offered at that time by dealers.

If your a big guy the only viable option is the Accord. I've test driven all of these cars, and here is what I found.

1. 6-6 7th gen - Very Responsive, and comfortable
2. Civic Si Sedan - Fun to drive but, uncomfortable (ebrake jaming into your leg), and seems slow compared to a V6 Accord ( No torque)
2. 6spd RSX- Awesome car (Type-s) but, my head would have to be out the sun roof (I'm about 6'4")
3. 6spd G35 Coupe (highly doubt it) - Great car but, its a little small inside, and if I were to go this route I would buy the 350Z and save some cash. They are very very similar
4. WRX - They are a bitch to maintain but, a blast to drive.
5. Mazda 3 Hatchback - Had one of these as a rental before it was very diappointing to say the least.

At the end of the day it's all about what you like drive them all and make a decision. Just do your best to look at cost of ownership not just price.

I crashed my 7th gen something good. Actually someone hit me. So I dumped her and got a new one (2003 TL-S). Rode my bike (Read: Motorcycle)  around for a few weeks while insurance was getting figured out. Also BP should spill some more oil because preimum gas is way too expensive.

I installed my new shift knob.  I also made a headlight wiring harness for Mike's car and helped my buddy install a new Omni Power clutch master cylinder and K-Tuned SS clutch line in his RSX Type S.
