Not bad for a DIY if I do say so myself.

More of the same for me. Just ordered more parts that I cannot afford.

Took off the moldings, popped out the clips, welded on small metal pieces I fed from inside the door panels, a little filler to smooth things over, prime and paint.
I wasn't going for absolutely perfect as I have more things planned but for a little bit of time and not much invested, it does the job.

Looks good Z. Any bondo after welding?
I may be doing a little sanding and priming soon so I can safe on an Auoflex coatings job.

That's what I meant by filler Rich. The part that sucks though is in certain angles, you can barely see where the clips used to go. Maybe I sanded too far when I was smoothing out the primer and maybe the paint I laid down is just real thin. Either way, it's temporary until I can find some time to continue what I started a couple weeks ago.

A lot of times, the filler material will shrink a little bit and cause that. If you look at mine at certain angles you can see that too.

Mine was done with a slightly different method, which I kind of question the integrity of it because the guy didn't seem to want to do the work to weld anything.

Oh, I didn't see that you mentioned filler.

that is some clean body work.
Bought some more shit for the turbo build.. Turns out the diaphragm was ripped on the waste gate... So I guess I was lucky to catch it before it goes on and waste money on tuning.

Replaced my front bumper quick release clips with something far cleaner and finally shaved my rear H.
