There's nothing wrong with a slight pull.

lol I didn't confuse anything. The guy doing it is doing it for $50/corner - with or without a pull. So I figured I might as well get them slightly pulled at the same time while I'm at it in case later on I want to run wider wheels or tires (i.e. Vossens) But y'all are basically saying I shouldn't...reasoning being what? It can soften that area?
You won't need it.  Honestly, I wouldn't pull it unless you need the pull, it won't look right..  If you do get wider wheels/tires someday that would require a pull, then get the pull done then.

Plus, you would be limiting your potential future wheel and/or tire choices by how much you pull now.  So you either need to try to fit the combo to how much you pull now, or you will have to get it done again later to pull your fenders more.

Thanks for the advice, Mark - You make a good point. Okay, maybe I'll ask Ryan not to pull them tomorrow but if I need it later on would he be willing to do it for free or at a low price considering I'll already be paying for the job

What Mark said is true, get some wheelz first to then make moves w/ the pulling. Smiley

Finally got the rear fenders rolled, today, and they came out perfect
I'll be putting my 20mm/25mm H&R TRAK+ spacers on tomorrow giving these 18x8 +55 8G wheels a +35/+30 offset for a more flush look. Rolling the fenders freed up at least another 15mm than before.

Swapped out my winter wheels for my summer wheels. Scratched the paint on one of the summer wheels though. Good excuse to powder coat meow.

So today I got my H&R TRAK+ spacers back on! I absolutely love the outcome! I'm running 20mm front / 25mm rear to give the 18x8 10-spokes a +35/+30 offset

However, I did notice on my way to class today that my rear was rubbing a little bit, so tomorrow Ryan & I are going to pull the fenders (the slightest bit) to clear

What are you dropped on?  If you can adjust your compression separately from your rebound, I would increase stiffness on your compression first.  If not or that doesn't do enough to fix it, then I would add a tad bit of negative camber.  You shouldn't need much.  Adding -0.25 should do it..

You shouldn't see any negative effect of adding negative camber until you add an extreme amount of negative camber.

I would personally play with the alignment before doing any fender pulling.

He's on Basics. Like I told him on one of the other forums he's whoring these pics on, the little bit of drop he plans on doing tomorrow should take care of adding a little bit of camber.

haha I'm slutting 'em out, not whoring...whores get paid Wink

I usually post the same thread on each forum b/c not each forum has the same users

and yea alpha I agree with you - I'm running -1.2 camber in the rear on both sides right now. -0.5 to -1.5 is OEM spec and probably down to -3 camber is still acceptable for not-so-bad tire wear. Anything more negative than that and you better have back up tires lol I'm going to drop her more in the morning and see how it sits.

D'you think I'd achieve a natural -0.25 more neg camber by doing about another 3/4-1" drop?

If you are going 1" lower, you may need to add more negative camber.  You'll naturally get more negative camber by going lower; but how much is a question I can't answer.  I was guesstimating adding -0.25 from your current ride height.  When you go lower, you may naturally go from -1.2 to -1.5, but you may need to up it towards -2.0 for the tire to tuck without rubbing.

Are you planning to lower 1" from ground to car? or 1" on the thread collar?

1" in ride height (ground to fender). When I originally dropped from stock 27" rear to 26" I got a 4 wheel align done (have unlimited for 3 years ) and Christian said I was at -3 camber. He drives a slammed Civic Si so I love & trust him (only) in doing my alignments as he's another Honda enthusiast plus understands what it's like having a lowered car. I told him I wanted to stay within OEM spec so he set the rear camber at -1.2 on both sides and toe is 0.10* L / 0.00* R - OEM spec for toe is 0.00*-0.15* for each side, total toe 0.00*-0.30*
