lol I did a search for blacking out the window trim, since the chrome is such an eye sore, looks like it gave you a hard time?

I had the black out tape, shit peels off. I let my chrome show now since it matches w my front end.

It all depends on how you prep the surface. If you put the tape on without cleaning the chrome first, it's not going to last too long.  I would rub an alcohol swab over the trim price before placing the tape.

Yep, it gave me a really hard time with all the contours, and I didn't have patience for it.  I ended up painting mine, which was even more painstaking, but came out good.  Problem is, it's flaking off in a few spots periodically.  Like Nelson said, it's all in the preparation.  I can also second that Z's tape job came out really nice.  So, you have some options.

Nvm, I didn't have black out tape, I had electrical tape, no wonder. I did prep the surface well, I knew what I was doing but yeah, I had electrical tape.
