What did you do to your Gen7 today?

Does the defrost without a/c setting allow you to disable the compressor? I'm familiar with the setting change, but not as familiar with how it affects the a/c system/compressor. If this disables the compressor (disengages the compressor clutch), it means that you defrost/defogger is also disabled.

Yulp, allows me to turn the compressor on and off at will. I like this better because I can leave it on the windshield/feet setting and if I need defrosting action, all I have to do is tap the A/C button and leave it on for a minute. Then I can shut it off when everything is clear to enjoy (slight) fuel savings and no random compressor "kick."

Shift knob looks cool Rich. Looks like a Type S/S2000 shift knob polished. I had one similar to that before, but I prefer the round design of the S2000 C/R/Type R.

Thanks, it's a Type S. I put it in a batch of parts that had to get nickel plated. He asked if i was sure so i asked what he recommends and he said he'll take care of it and if i didnt like it, we could trip it and redo it. From his explanation of the process, it was a little time consuming. I am please with it, to say the least and it only cost me a dozen donuts.

So Ive decided that im gonna flush my radiator and change the antifreeze, never been changed to my knowledge.  While Im in there and the antifreeze is not I was thinkin about replacing the Rad hoses. Anyone have Silicone hoses?  Are they worth it?

Did my oil changed and engine flush . next am a drain and fill my power steering. I have obx silicone hoses there ok but i do get a few drips here and there am thinking of going back to oem type ones myself

Hybrid Racing.  Just sent them back yesterday actually.  I was sent the RSX hoses instead of the k swap hoses.  I'm hoping the k swap hoses will fit.  If not I'll just return them and use the stock hoses instead.

Well yesterday I basically took all the paint of my battery tie down. Looks all nice and clean now. I also gave it a nice High Temp clear coat... Also did an oil change and ordered 2 hood cushion's since I dunno where mine went off to! Took em' off one day and never found them again lolz
