Having the sensor unplugged from the master brake resevoir under the hood won't cause me to fail my inspection right.... I don't think it should but I rather be 100% sure! Going for inspection on my day off tomorrow.

Depends on whether they look under the hood and if there is a dash light on. Just for shits and giggles, can you post a picture of where the sensor is at and which dash light is on when it is plugged in?

It is the light that normally comes on when you engage the e-brake. It lights up "BRAKE" and the sensor plug is literally on the back end of the resevior. I'm at work so posting a picture won't happen lolz. I pretty sure I will be ok as the "CEL" is NOT on!

I know in RI the brake light will fail you because it indicates that there is an issue with a safety mechanism.

Ordered new energy suspension bump stops to combat the control arm slap I get on hard bumps.
What bump stops did you go with? I can't find 'em!

I cleaned off the hubs of the rotors and sprayed them flat black with BBQ paint. Ready for another summer. Also adjusted my projectors so then no longer shine above horizontal.

Does the dash light still work with your parking brake?

Yes dash light still works with the e-brake even though the sensor plug is taken out.

You should be fine then. Just try to hide the unplugged connector if they do a visual inspection under the hood.

No problem Billy. Time to find that replacement sensor though.

Yea its literally inside the resevior bottle that holds the brake fluid. So I am looking into getting another locally cuz I found it for $127 so far. I think its like $80 by me. Gonna find out tomorrow though.

Ah... got the ride inspected today and passed! They were very thorough there but they didn't look under the hood!
