Why didnt you like the ebc setup? Ive been looking into ebc rotors and green stuff pads, looks like they're made in the us/uk.

So does anyone have anything good to report on any aftermarket brake setup? Browsing through this thread, no one seems to be happy with anything on the market.. Been doing a lot of research for new rotors and pads and it seems like everything out there, including stock setup warps very easily. Are any rotors made out of quality materials or is every rotor made out of cheap chinese materials...

Here's a question for all of you with 4 cylinder accords with tl rims. Did you notice any acceleration difference or fuel mileage decrease with a heavier rim and wider tire? I would have to get a 245/45/17 tire to keep the speedo the same. Thats a big increase in tire compared to my stock 205/60/16. I drive about 3k miles a month. About half city half highway. Did i mention i have an auto trans?, so its already sluggish. Will i feel a noticeable decrease in acceleration? Will i feel any handling improvement with the wider tire? Also, my car is completely stock. My stock rims are beat to hell and my tires need replacing, so im looking for new ones.  Any feedback is appreciated.

Im debating on painting it myself. Theres a lot of diy paint jobs, online but they're all different. Still  trying to decipher which one to use.

Did you just mount the lip with screws? did you use double sided tape at all?

So if i put on a larger tire than stock, the odometer would be counting more miles than actually driven?

So ive been searching for an answer to a question i had, but have yet to find one. My stock tire size is 205/60/16. If i upgrade to 17" acura tl wheels with a tire size of 235/55/17, I will have a little bit of a speedometer error. Will this affect the odometer as well? Or should i just put on a tire size of 235/50/17? Will the extra sidewall affect ride quality that much?
9  Suspension & Handling / Suspension & Chassis / Re: How To: Ingalls Rear Camber Kit. on: November 18, 2014, 10:43:33 PM
finally lowered my car on tein s tech springs. Looking into a rear camber kit. Should I get spc upper camber arms with ball joint? or ingalls lower arms? they're both about the same price so what will allow camber to align into spec. Which is a better buy?
10  Suspension & Handling / Wheels & Tires / Re: Getting new wheels, need some help. on: December 22, 2012, 10:43:24 PM
i also have a 4 cylinder, and i dont want 18" wheels. I thought i was getting these wheels for a steal of a price. I think they will look good if i drop the car, which i plan on doing....in the far future...when my stock suspension goes.. Wink
11  Suspension & Handling / Wheels & Tires / RPF1's advice on: December 22, 2012, 03:52:04 PM
figured i'd post here so i didnt have to start a new thread. I need some advice... I have an 05 coupe with stock 5 spoke wheels. I have the opportunity to pick up a set of enkei rpf1's size: 16x7 for $500 dollars. I know these wheels alone go for around a grand. I really wanted to get the 16x8 version of these wheels, so my question to you is, Should i get the 16x7 and save a whole lotta money, or wait to spend 500 more dollars for an extra inch of width?
12  Suspension & Handling / Wheels & Tires / Re: lug holes too big for studs? on: July 02, 2012, 09:48:03 PM
i forgot to take a pic, i just had the rim on there about an hour ago. I'm thinking i need the different lug nuts. The wheels are from a mitsubishi eclipse, ill take a pic tomorrow.
13  Suspension & Handling / Wheels & Tires / lug holes too big for studs? on: July 02, 2012, 09:35:22 PM
I have an 05 coupe. So i just got a new set of rims. The bolt pattern is 5x 114.3, same as stock rims, i already got hub adapters, so there is no movement in the hub, but the lug nut holes are much bigger than the ones on the stock rims, which leads me to believe the lugs will come loose while driving. Is there some sort of lug nut hole adapter out there? because i dont want to put the wheels on and have them fly off while driving. Anyone have this problem before?

by the way.. where can i get a 7.5 front lip from that doesn't have ridiculous prices for shipping, i was just quoted $250 for shipping alone from bernardi honda, and handaaccessories doesn't carry them anymore..
15  Lounge / General Automotive & Forum Discussion / Re: mixed 7th gen with 7.5 gen lip kits on: May 25, 2012, 04:05:08 PM
i know the bumper isnt going to get any better but i think im gonna give the 7.5 lip a try. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to make the lip fit right? ill report back when all is said and done..
