Title: looking for top quality microfiber towels?
Post by: RTexasF on February 19, 2009, 08:39:16 PM
Here is the spot folks and on sale as an intro:

http://www.ultrafinish.com/store/ (http://www.ultrafinish.com/store/)

This is run by Poorboy's. I have a huge amount of towels from him and they are top notch. There are many other suppliers around but this is a good deal if you get in on it soon due to the discount available. If you have never bought MF towels you will need a lot more than you think. No, I have no interest in this or any other detailing product......they don't pay me squat or give me freebies, so there!

It makes me want to order and I don't need any more towels. I have a problem passing up a bargain (proven by the new RAV4).

The price is right. I've paid upwards of 20 for no name stuff, and got shit out of it. This is a great deal folks jump on it!!!

Thanks Rick.  I'm afraid to look at the site.  I may end up spending more money that I don't have.  I think I have enough MF towels right now, but I may return to this thread to see if the deal is still around.

I'll try these out. The Walmart microfibers are pretty good for the cost, but it can't hurt to try something new.

The difference will astound you. Don't forget to wash them before using (true of all mf towels).

btw: GREAT prices on most of the items. even the ones that seem high are pretty good for the quality

I didnt realize there's so many types of MF towels.  Which should I get for drying, wiping down interiors, and wiping clay lube?

I bought these http://www.ultrafinish.com/store/index. ... roductId=5 (http://www.ultrafinish.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=5) , and they have been nothing short of great.

I'm thinking of getting one of these to dry: http://www.ultrafinish.com/store/index. ... oductId=15 (http://www.ultrafinish.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=15)

For what it's worth I haven't found many "specialty" MF towels work that much better than standard ones that are high quality. The exception to that is some from DF Concours made specifically for removing wax and sealants. They are damned expensive but work better than anything else for that single purpose.

They are not of the same quality. It's worth the extra money believe me.

The difference is like comparing apples to meteors...... there is no comparison. Not that the Costcos are bad, it's that the others are that much better.

With these HQ microfiber towels, how many times can they be washed and reused until they are no good?

Misha, I merged your thread into an existing thread about where to get microfiber towels at a good price.  I think we should keep everything in one thread.  I have updated the OP with all the links with posted in this thread.
