You're safer with a 225. Ignoring the fact that I don't like the extreme poke and stretch hellaflush look, safety is really the #1 reason why you shouldn't get anything narrower than a 225 for a 9" wide wheel. Having your tire pop off the seat while you're driving and you lose control of your car should be a good enough reason to choose function over form.

A fender roller will do nothing for the quarter panels. They're double walled and a fender roller isn't going to do jack shit.
