Removing wax from black trim
«

No matter how careful I am, it seems I always get some wax on my black trim in places. It is really hard to get off due to the texture of the plastic. I've had moderate results using a tooth brush and some of Mother's Back-to-Black dressing. Has anyone discovered a method that works well for this?

I'm sure there are a few other guys on here that can help you with that better than I could. I can suggest using painters tape in those areas the next time you wax your car to prevent it from happening.

Painters tape is a good idea. Prevention might be the answer.

Use some quick detailer as a cleaning solution. That's what I use.
