Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: gargantula99 on May 27, 2011, 07:17:07 AM Welcome.
Check ur math. Bought it in 08 with 4k miles, you now have 70k miles, but only drive 2k-3k miles per year. Something doesn't add up. Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: Mike on May 27, 2011, 07:39:37 AM I think he missed a 0 and was trying to say 40k but, none the less welcome to ECM
Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: gargantula99 on May 27, 2011, 10:26:50 AM Nah Mike...I'm thinking 64K miles when purchased. Either way....welcome aboard. I'm sure the 4x4 Status came handy in the winter time. Check out the NYCM squad when you get a chance.

Props to you sir. thank you Welcome. Check ur math. Bought it in 08 with 4k miles, you now have 70k miles, but only drive 2k-3k miles per year. Something doesn't add up. I made a mistake I bought it on December 23rd 2008 with 64k miles In reality it comes out to an average of 2k per year (I did not drive the car in December of '08) It was late, I couldn't do math :D Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: Rich01 on May 28, 2011, 12:23:51 PM Welcome to the Elite. Does the compressor freeze up on you during the winter time?
Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: StrikingAccord on June 01, 2011, 03:46:44 PM I have this current setup for almost 2 months now
I had other air ride setups (90 Accord and 07 Altima). My Thomas compressor blew up in my Accord but the ViAir worked great all season in my Altima, no issues. I currently use the ViAir 480....I wouldn't go with anything else. Only thing I would worry about during cold winters is the airlines freezing up. 90 Accord (I know...riced out lol): (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v43/2NYCE/02.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v43/2NYCE/10.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v43/2NYCE/14.jpg) 07 Altima: (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v43/2NYCE/105_0039.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v43/2NYCE/105_0042.jpg) Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: StrikingAccord on July 02, 2011, 08:16:31 PM Before:

I see you got those headlights on that I sold you last year. Did you end up cleaning up my attempt at resealing them? Also, did you figure out the problem you were having with your bags?
Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: timot_one on July 10, 2012, 09:51:30 AM my final mod coming this week (hopefully) ...and that is? Did you end up cleaning up my attempt at resealing them? Also, did you figure out the problem you were having with your bags? Hey man, how have you been? Thanks for reminding me about the reseal, I totally forgot. Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: StrikingAccord on July 12, 2012, 04:21:19 PM my final mod coming this week (hopefully) ...and that is? Completing my air ride suspension with front bags. It will be done either tomorrow or Tuesday :) Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: timot_one on July 12, 2012, 05:33:28 PM You only had the rear bagged?
Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: StrikingAccord on July 17, 2012, 04:15:53 PM yessir
I'm still waiting on these guys to install it :( I feel like doing it myself Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: StrikingAccord on July 22, 2012, 10:12:20 PM update on my front air ride install:
- shop was shipped the wrong bags for my ride...had to wait a week - shop was backed up with cars...had to wait a week - shop realized that the control arm will be effected with the bag that they ordered. They didn't want to (or knew how to) shave/reinforce the arm. They suggested I install K-Sport front strut bags. I was quoted over $2000 (for just the FRONT)! I wasted almost a month!! Not once did they call me back. I had to keep on calling them and I only got a straight answer when I visited their shop. Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: StrikingAccord on July 22, 2012, 10:39:48 PM does anyone know anyone know any good suspension shops around the Queens/Brooklyn area?
Title: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: CYANiDE on July 23, 2012, 02:02:17 AM For bags, there is a dude out in Brooklyn that is well known. Almost all air kits have issues with the front bags and the control arm.
Title: Re: Re: [Profile] StrikingAccord Post by: cna on July 23, 2012, 11:14:37 AM Yeah ksport baggs way to go I seen them done here in Manhattan but with the compressor , tank and remote its a few stacks
