Title: installed: 06-07 Automatic Shifter Knob Post by: 2i2dk1ny2i3 on February 26, 2015, 04:42:00 AM yeah i know its an Auto but i've driven a 6 Speed before and don't plan on going Manual again, at least not anytime soon so on with the install:
fairly straight forward, remove 2 screws holding Shift Knob on front 1. pic of just both Auto Shift Knobs: (http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy186/GR3Y5H3ART/IMG_20150225_154206.jpg) 2. the 2 screw holes do not line up, i shaved off the bottom piece circled in red as it will not sit correctly in P (park) and you can see the height difference (http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy186/GR3Y5H3ART/IMG_20150225_154244.jpg) 3. pic installed, i need to shave down the bottom black piece and resintall it, was starting to snow (http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy186/GR3Y5H3ART/IMG_20150225.jpg) 4. comparison of both, 06-07 feels less clunky and "old school."
