Title: Pascal's 5AT -> 6MT conversion, parts list and more. Post by: Pascal on March 30, 2015, 09:18:31 PM I decided to start a new thread about my future conversion, this will also act as my parts list checkup to make sure I have everything and if there is something I should replace.
It should be a bit different than the current thread, since there is no pictures and official part list. I'll update everything in this post to make everything clear. This will be done on a 2003 accord sedan automatic, with a K24A2 swap. The parts will be divided to match honda's parts list catalogue The list will have this form: "part number " / "description" - "the vehicule it came from or the vehicule it was meant for" (" if I got comments or used an aftermarket part ") Some parts are meant for more than one model, just check the application list of the part number. _________________________ Parts I have so far : CLUTCH - TORQUE CONVERTER - 22100-RBB-005 / FLYWHEEL - 2004 TSX MT (might not use this) - 90011-PNA-B00 / BOLT (12MM) - 2004 TSX MT (AT bolts are not the same) - 22200-RBB-005 / DISK, FRICTION - 2004 TSX MT (will be replaced) - 22300-RBB-005 / DISK, PRESSURE - 2004 TSX MT (will be replaced) - 90034-689-000 / BOLT, TWELVE POINT (8MM) (TOKAI TRW) - 2004 TSX manual (got to check again if I have them) CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER - 46920-S7A-A03 / MASTER CYLINDER ASSY., CLUTCH - 2003 Accord Sedan MT - 46971-SDA-A01 / TUBE, CLUTCH FLUID - 2003 Accord Sedan MT - 46965-S6A-013 / TANK ASSY., CLUTCH FLUID - 2003 Accord Sedan MT - 46966-SDA-A02 / HOLDER, TANK - 2003 Accord Sedan MT - 46930-S7C-E02 / CYLINDER ASSY., CLUTCH SLAVE - 2004 TSX MT DRIVESHAFT - 44500-SDA-A00 / SHAFT ASSY., HALF - 2004 TSX MT ELSE - 2004 TSX 6 speed manual transmission. - Ktuner 2005 k24 accord auto ECU - 2004 TSX 6 speed CV shafts - 2003 Accord k24 sedan shifter box - 2004 TSX shift linkage cables - 2005 Accord v6 manual clutch pedal, brake pedal and misc. parts. - 2003 Accord sedan k24 shifter boot - Beer, a lot of beer :D _________________________ Parts I still need : CLUTCH - TORQUE CONVERTER - 22100-RBB-005 / FLYWHEEL - 2004 TSX MT (Might buy a used 2006-2011 civic si FW local for 40$, seems to be very similar to the RSX-S) - 22200-RBB-005 / DISK, FRICTION - 2004 TSX MT (with clutch kit, considering exedy stage 1) - 22300-RBB-005 / DISK, PRESSURE - 2004 TSX MT (with clutch kit, considering exedy stage 1) - 22103-PNA-003 / BUSH (21X24X8) - 2004 TSX MT (with clutch kit, considering exedy stage 1) CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER - KTD-CLK-RHD / STAINLESS STEEL CLUTCH LINE KIT (RHD) - K-swapped cars (From ktuned, RHD version because it is slightly longer) - 46928-S5A-A01 / SEAL, MASTER CYLINDER - 2003 Accord sedan MT (included when a new CMC is bought) - 46911-S70-003 / PIN, LOCK (8MM) - 2003 Accord sedan MT - 46912-S84-A00 / PIN, CLUTCH PEDAL - 2003 Accord sedan MT ELSE - Manual cluster (dammit they all got different part numbers, found a DX sedan one for 30$ but not sure if they got less "features" than me. Also know a guy that has his crashed EX-L sedan manual cluster hanged in his garage, he might consider selling it) _________________________ Please comment if you think I forgot something. Title: Re: Pascal's 5AT -> 6MT conversion, parts list and more. Post by: wawade86 on May 12, 2015, 01:12:01 AM According to other Honda AT to MT posts we will need a manual starter and transmission mounts. Parts numbers differ from the MT to AT.

Title: Re: Pascal's 5AT -> 6MT conversion, parts list and more. Post by: bian.yy on August 31, 2015, 12:36:04 AM Hi Pascal
I got an CM5 with K24A8 and DCLA 5AT in China market, I'm quite confident on the mechanical parts swap with a 5MT or 6MT. But there are some ECM issue what I'm still not clear, could you share your information to help me? a. Pin9 of D connector on ECM, which is nameded CRMTCLS, is supposed to acquire clutch pedal switch for cruise control, if I swap then how can I deal this pin. b. How do I get speed sensor signal from the tranny? I read the diagram,it seems on AT, ECM read VSSOUT and then provide speed data to gauge cluster via CAN bus? c. How to deal the P signal on shifter which prevent car key from remove, I think I can force this wire to "ENABLE" d. I belive the D indicator will flash after swap, how to do? e. If 6MT, is there a position on chassis to install that reverse lock solenoid? f. VSA module will control engine RPM and tranny, if I still want VSA, do I need a MT ECM to replace? These are what I worked out for now, I'm not sure if there are more issues soon. I haven't buy any parts for the moment, just work on manuals and diagram to check the feasibility. Cheers! |
