i got as high as 31.5mpg so its about 535 miles per tank. im sure you can get more if you drive 55-60 instead of 70-80

it was a rather pleasent drive, mainly because the driving was split up and i was watching movies when I wasnt driving.
As for the roads, yes they were mostly flat, we drove all the way through PA and those roads are pretty damn flat.

4cyc.  200 miles per tank stop and go driving. I mean topping it off to dead empty. Way after the light comes on. Highway maybe 300-350 a tank.

I DEFINITELY won't drive my cars like that EVER. I don't do the jackrabbit starts and shit, but what that guy does is ridiculous. I like using my A/C.

That hypermiler is one of those idiot fanatics that takes things too fucking far.  I hate people like him who are arrogant snobs about saving a few pennies worth of gas while endangering everyone else on the road.  Some of his techniques help increase fuel economy, but most of them are careless and dangerous.

I thought it was a bad idea to fill up past the part where the pump clicks. I've been getting roughly 258 to 268 miles on a full tank 100% city driving on my I4. On 100% highway driving, I get about 400 to 420 miles on a full tank.

I'm with you Steve, about the same and that's using 87 octane all the time.
I work in the city so I don't drive there, I take the subway, can't find parking in the streets and the parking
lots want like $25 to $40 to park for any 12 hrs, fuck that shit, so I mainly drive like to the market or around the 'hood sometimes on the weekdays and drive a lot on the weekends, It usually takes from 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 weeks to fill up again.
Just to give you an example I got my CM May 1st /08 with 17,500 mi. and it is now May 5th /09 and I read 27,350 mi.
still haven't reached 10,000 miles yet.

filled up when came back on sunday from meet.
put in 16.6galons in. managed to get 490 miles out of 16.6galons. so thats 29.6mpg, not bad, but i missed vtec

thats only saving about 2.5 galons per tank but sacrificing all the fun, dont think it worth it.

I just did 498.7 miles on a trip to Wisconsin Cheesy. Average speed around 70mph... with some cases of flooring it... and with A/C on all the way
