yikes - they look bulletproof, but that's a lotta dough.  +1 for the 2x4 method

I got some from Pep Boys about a month ago for around $30 I think but I dont know if the Accord can go on em yet, they're perfect for the Sentra though.

This was discussed in my local forums, but more for unloading lowered cars from trailers: http://www.houston-imports.com/forums/s ... p?t=519485

And this is the reason why you shouldn't use 2x4's for loading cars lol:

From what i've read on my local forum, apparently these are really nice ramps and are light weight as well, but if your just loading onto a rack (like in the OP's link), then 2x4's seem fine

I built some that were 40 inches long that gave a 8" lift. It was able to accommodate a car that is 5" off the ground.
We bolted a 10x2 to the bottom after the pics and some suggestions. They cost a total of $40.00 They are very secure and will not do what the Porsche did.

Those ramps look like a rip off.  Just get a few 2"x6"s

Guys this guide is great for making your own car ramps.  I used to use these and they worked great!
