46  Lounge / General Automotive & Forum Discussion / Re: Car Whores United! on: January 23, 2013, 02:45:33 PM
This thread really isn't about car whores, it's about what we would like to buy.

Cheesy, that said,  Cheesy I will be purchasing a car in 2015.  That is when my 1 point will be removed from my DMV record and my insurance will drop so I could afford to insure what ever I buy and gives me time to save up for a nice large down payment if not the entire thing.

I am debating between several cars. So maybe you guys could give me some insight on what to choose or introduce me to cars to take into consideration. Mainly want I would like to own is a Weekend warrior I could drive to the track something that is low & wide with style and function.

Acura NSX -  currently my top choice, I would love to get a 97-01 with the 3.2 motor, 6-speed & Targa Top, but I really don’t want to spend 40k, so I will mostly likely end up getting a 91 to start off.

Audi S5 - 2010 I know this car is not really intended for track racing and I wont tack it if I do buy it, I just don’t see much of these on the road where I am from but when I do I just get a chubby,  Tongue  So I have to add it to consideration.

Porches 911 – I know this car will cost me a leg and arm maybe left nut also but I am sure I will be happy with what ever year I get. I saw this video on vimeo and now I want one.

Dodge Viper – Have not looked into this car much with being reliable or how it handles but I am sure the V-12 would be a lot of fun to work with.

1970ish Datsun 240z – I had one for a year but I sold when I bought my home for extra cash, so I never had enough time to mess too much with the motor, suspension, ect… But I did enjoy driving that car around, it was a lot of fun.

I know this is big write up in the middle of a large thread, but I am bored at work and I want to raise my Rep..  Cheesy

I am talking about the Wing Soiler, I am well aware that the lip spoiller will have no chance to work.  Cool

And good catch on the Third barke light being blocked.

Hey ECM,
I was researching and I did not find the info I was looking for. Sad

question Does anyone know if a 06-07 Sedan OEM Wing will fit on a 03-05 Sedan with a flush look like if it was meant for it?

I was hoping someone had the time and money to give it a try.  I am not sure about everyone else but I think the 06-07 wing is much more aggressive then the 03-07wing.

Timothy, so I am planning to do this project but I had something a bit different If possible, I would like to swap my entire brake setup for a 08 TL Type-S.  I found a wrecked one nearby where I live and could pick up all four brake calipers (Brembos) both rear knuckles and front brackets needed.. And the junk yard place is telling 800 for everything.

What do you think, is it possible? And is it. Good deal?
