Finally taking off my Michelin snow tires despite snow in the forecast for Monday!  I also might try to sand the rust off two sets of steelies, and repaint them.  I can't decide between colors to go with my Alabaster Silver paint.  I'll probably just settle for regular old gloss black.

$61 at AFHK parts.    The cheapest I found quickly was $54.82 at HondaVilageParts.com if anyone references this in the future.

I'll probably order online, because I have had bad experiences with my local dealer, and I am very stubborn.  My passenger doors only get opened when I vacuum my back seat.  Those seals should never need replacing!

Thanks for the information.  I will definitely be going OEM.  In this instance it looks like Majestic has a fairly competitive price.  Figures that all the passenger door seals seem to go for half that price  Angry

My front left door seal has a 6-8 inch rip in it, and I have been thinking of replacing it for a while now.  Has anyone replaced theirs?  Is there a place I can find a part #?

I keep searching for the seal on the inside of the door frame, and the closest I have came to finding the right part is the weatherstripping that goes on the door below the window (not what I want).

Should I just suck it up and pay the big bucks at the dealership 45 minutes away?  Will they even have one?

FG rep lip looks pretty good!  Mr Cracker, did you originally attach the lip with screws inside the wheel well, where the front body piece screws in.? Or did you use the holes underneath, and later switch to the clips underneath?  I'm thinking about getting the lip if I can convince myself that I will be able to paint it Alabaster Silver at home with no issues.  I'm 50/50 on my decision right now.

Alright, thanks guys.  I guess since I'm almost 30 I need to stop driving like a teenager.

5 year old thread revival!  How long did you keep the washer in, and do you still think it was a good idea in hindsight?  Every few months I get the embarrassing 1st->2nd grind when I try to shift quickly.  I know Tim is correct about not winding out my engine, but, I dunno, I'm an idiot.

I went ahead and ordered 40 10mm clips on amazon for 8 bucks right after I posted Sad   If they don't fit, I'll get the 91503-SZ3-003.  Interesting that the ebay seller states that those are acura clips, and honda clips from 1996+ are size 5, not 3, (part number 91503-SZ5-003).

I'll post back when I receive the 10mm clips, in regards to fitment and quality, just in case anyone else out there is as cheap as me, and would prefer 40 clips for the same price as 15.

I have been doing some searching, and can't figure out what size clips I need to re-secure my front fascia.  I swerved off the road when a deer ran in front of me, and the fascia and black plastic underneath is hanging pretty low.  Does anyone know what size clips should be used?  I've been told 8mm, 9.5mm, and 10mm, but I would rather have someone's opinion on this forum, rather than somewhere else.

2006 accord sedan front fascia clip size?

Thanks!
10  Suspension & Handling / Brakes / Re: How To: Front Brake Change on: April 23, 2014, 06:06:09 AM
I know this is an old post, but I am interested and have a few questions.  First, is there another place I can find similar instructions with the pictures still available?  Is the Acura Legend GS caliper swap still the preferred affordable upgrade?  Would anyone suggest anything different, or  be able to recommend a pretty decent, affordable set of rotors and pads?  I see the word coupe thrown around a lot here, so I am going to assume the rotors are a different size?  For the record I have a 2006 Lx sedan which I am pretty sure has drum brakes in the rear.  I also have those snazzy (ha) snap on honda hubcaps on my stock rusty rims.
11  K Series Performance / Stock Motors, Transmissions, & Maintenance / Re: Clutch fluid replacement on: March 30, 2014, 11:05:06 AM
Thank you sir.  I'm pretty sure I can find a write up or diagram pointing out where the slave cylinder is, I just needed a little nudge in the right direction.  I'm gonna take care of the fluid change today, so I will PM you if I screw it up or have questions  Grin

I thought I had clutch fluid replacement instructions bookmarked, but I was wrong.  Now I can't find anything when I search.  Can anybody point me in the right direction?  I am led to believe there is a drain valve under the car somewhere for a 5mt clutch.  Any help would be appreciated!

Not quite as unique as everyone else's cars, but I am "refreshing" my stock 2006 lx sedan before I begin the bolt on process.  I got it for a great price, but zero maintenance has been done on it, and it just passed 122,000 miles.  Please note that I am a noob, and would enjoy any advice anyone wants to give regarding what I should do, and what I should check.  For today I started with the easiest of the easy and replaced the coolant, power steering fluid, and brake fluid.  I have a metric socket set coming in the mail, and am changing the M trans fluid, serpentine belt, spark plugs, oil, and doing a seafoam treatment very soon.  Next I will be adding a Grom Audio aux and usb input, and 06+ tsx intake manifold (in the next month or so I hope).

Here are a few pics of the beginning of my work:

open hood and get "tools" out of the fridge

put car on jack stands, remove tires, attach home made brake bleeder tool inspired by ericthecarguy.com

pumped a shocking amount of air out of my brake lines while changing fluid.  brake pedal firmed up nicely

I have a boner for K24 engines.  Accord, Accord, CR-V

Screw it, I want to see a J swap on that little cutie.     laugh

Sounds good.  Thanks for bringing up the grounding issue, electronics knowledge is definitely my biggest weak point.
