Come on...we know this mod is going to be great but a difference of 1 full second 0-60? That'd be a ridiculous gain and totally unfeasible for such a mod. The AT does 0-60 in the upper 6 second range stock. If this manifold decreased the 0-60 time by 0.2 seconds, that'd be a great and noticeable gain. Obviously that would mean the 0-100 time would be quicker by more than 0.2 seconds, resulting in a much faster 1/4 mile time as well. You can't expect this to decrease the 0-60 time by a second though lol. That'd translate to easily over a second in the 1/4, which is equivalent to a 100+hp gain.

I think you should both wait for this.

Paul, any update on a Final drive? I understand why you would want to make the gears a bit longer for the 3.5 (at least 1st gear), but wouldn't it make more sense to do a gear set for the stock 3.0 Accords and 3.2 TL's? There are plenty more of those than J35/6s. I know a few people that would love a 3.73 Final Drive Cheesy And for $225, holy crap I'm in.

That's weird Shelly. V6P has been acting strange lately though. There's been some database errors and it's been down for quite awhile the last month or so. Maybe try again, there's sooo much good info on that site.

Silver Bullet: I'm not sure when the J&R will be available for us. Apparently Rodney has been wanting to test it on the 7/8G's I've heard. However, it's not a 'real' Standalone and has a lot of bugs still being worked out by the users themselves. Rodney also hasn't proven to be exactly 'customer service friendly.' Some people are still waiting on the ECU who paid in full in Jan/Feb. Empty promises don't go well in any business, so unless he really steps his game up, I'm out. Don't get me wrong, it has the ability to tune really well, but I'm not about to pay $1200 and hold out for 6 months waiting...

I think I may know who you're talking about...apparently Neptune is working on something as well.

Idk if you have a username on V6P but someone is working with a way to tune for us. He is currently in the testing phases, but I'm hoping he will have something in a few months. I'm all over it.

Paul, wasn't that specific J36 running rich as a pig up top as well?

And the 8G ECU is reflashable...how 'easily' can this be wired and fitted? Thank God the 6MT didn't come with the VCM or we'd be in trouble...other than that?

Shelly, Xenocron has nothing for us. I already spoke to Chris  He said he could tune the FIC, but even then the car won't be up to its potential. If there is some sort of tuning solution that comes out (apparently on V6P there is one in the works, elsewhere as well hehe), I'd definitely say Chris would be a good guy to go to.

You know who this is fool lol.  Flippa!

Debating if this is worth it or not on my setup...
25  J Series Performance / Bolt Ons / Re: Gen7 J30 Bolt On list on: August 24, 2012, 12:47:25 PM
I agree, some shops do that. I can't help but think the numbers are on par though. I understand 270 seems high, but when a 3.5 on AEM EMS is putting down 297/305 and the S/C 3.5 on the FIC is putting down 325.....it doesn't seem far off. Either way I want to dyno on a Mustang to see the difference. I'd assume 245ish after my 3.5" CAI. I'm fine with that, it's more sleeper  Smiley

Ahem.  Whether or not the 270 SAE Corrected seems a little high is of little concern to me. I used this dyno to show the gains over my previous setup, which were awesome. However, a built 3.5 put down 297/305 on this exact dyno, and MikeyMike's J35 S/C 6G Accord @7psi tuned on the FIC put down 325whp.

Don't worry, when I do more pulls after the 3.5" CAI/timing belt/plugs, etc I will search for the lowest reading dyno I can find  :Smiley

The dyno showing my gains is below. Totally worth it for the IM/TB swap. I got the TB maxbored and the manifold gasket matched to my polished runners. Full mod list is as shown:

AEM V1 CAI
3.7 IM & TB/Polished runners
PCDs/Custom Jpipe & merge collector/3" catback
