Title: Quad Retrofit Headlight Maintenance
Post by: mtgtopdeck on May 18, 2011, 03:04:47 AM
I have these Quad Retro headlights I purchased used. They are originally from HID Illusionz.
When I got them used there was a problem with the right hand headlight. One of the parts for adjusting
the alignment was stripped and it could not be adjusted. This left my right headlight aiming at the
ground about 20 feet in front of my car.

SO! to solve this problem I need to bake open my headlight and replace the broken part. Fortunately
I had already purchased a used oem headlight on ebay for 20$ (it had a broken mount) so I had a
replacement for the broken piece.

I decided that since I would be opening it up I might as well take the opportunity to clean the plastic
housing. but I can't just clean one headlight... So I decided to bake open and clean both.

Here are the pictures of the whole process.
