Basically i wanna take that ugly thing off. I just dont wana pull up on it and have to deal with tht sticky crap.. Im sure that tape/adhesive is tough as hell to get off. Any suggestions? Without damaging my paint of course. I was thinking of just pulling it off slowly or whatever but I wasnt sure what product to use to get that funk off without doing damage.

Goo Gone!

Just pull it off very slowly and make sure to unclip any brackets (i dunno if there are any on the sunroof visor)
After that use Goo Gone on the leftover tape. It won't damage your paint unless used excessively, so take your time.

how do you apply the goo gone?
i was thinking about gettting it, just becuase i remember reading it before.
but is it like a spray, or paste? that you rub in.

when you're done using the goo gone, clay bar the area and apply a good coat of cleaner or cleaner/wax to protect the paint

They also make a rubber wheel made by 3m for removal of pinstriping and double sided tape.  You stick it on your drill and go at it.  It wont damage the paint but since you working close to the weatherstriping on the sunroof, you'll have to be somewhat carefull because it could take chunks out of that.  But just use a clay bar ove rthat and then seal it and wax it.

Those rubber wheels are awesome to use.  I love those things for getting double sided tape off.

I got impatient and pulled it off today. I got most of the tape stuff off with the pull, and the remaining stuff i managed to get off via finger/turtle wax polishing compound. I then waxed the crap out of it. It looks a bunch better.

My 07  Sedan OEM Sunroof visor had no adhesive just clips that you unscrew from the visor, then unhook the clips.

My side visors had adhesive applied along with hooks, i cut the adhesive apart, bent the hooks out to get it off. Then peeled the rest of the adhesive off and cleaned it up with goo gone
