I'd really like to get a decal designed pretty soon.  I have limited experience and fonts, so I'm hoping someone here can help out.  Post designs in here, and we will choose the best design.  The text will be "EliteCM.net".

To be honest, I liked the design of the old g7a decals. You think we could do something like that?

to tell you the truth, i sorta like the font you used right now... I like that font for a decal.

i'll try to work on something in my spare time for a decal (i posted in the general discussion forum bout this)  

brian you like the script font?  well i'll try to work on a few separate designs and see what kind of feedback i get..

I want the decals to be a bit robust so they will last.  The script font has thin lines, and for a decal, they would wear off very soon.

Good call tim! The design needs to include though of longevity.

does anyone like the font that i have on my signature (the "MDVACM" in the picture)  that's quite "robust" lol, and i can definitely see that lasting a long time..

either way, you're right, the script would be too thin.  which is why i'll try to work on several different designs.

I was thinking that he would be a good supplier.  I will have to e-mail him about pricing and sizes.  I'm not sure if he does any designs, but maybe we can work together to come up with a decal.  What is his e-mail address Sam?

I would be interested in some decals. Rolo knows a few good guys in Miami with some great ideas and printing/design equipment. I'll tell him about this

The only one there that I like and is "robust" enough to last is the first one. #1 gets my vote.

I think the block-style lettering looks best. I don't like the artsy script.

I like the last font on the first pic.

I like the first 3 from the first block-style lettering pic. I think the first one would be great for a sideskirt

tomorrow im gona make more fonts and post pics. then we can start poll who likes what kind so we can get it made

I like #1 the most.  When you post the new fonts, try to number them like in your first block of fonts.  That was a great idea to number them.

my fav are 15, 25 and 57(normal timesnewroman italic)

lets eliminate what we dont like first so its easy to choose from.
it has to be simple so ppl who look at it on a car can easily read it since they usualy have one chance to remmber it and possibly sign up

2, 13, 28, 37 are the ones I like. 28 reminds me of the old Integra forum I used to be on. Maybe that's why I like it.

I like 43 and 50 the most.  I think we should pick 2 styles just to keep things interesting.

Well, who wants to put up a poll or count the votes? Setup a thread and give it a time frame for responders, let each person pick up to 3 styles, then eliminate all but the 2 or 3 with the highest counts, then do a second poll of those 3.

Okay, since there are now two threads, this will be strictly a thread to submit your design and discuss the styles.  The other will be strictly to vote.

can't someone come up with their own design other than just going through different fonts?  no offense misha, i just want something a bit more unique than a font.
( i know i said i would, i just got swamped with coursework, sorry, but i'll get to it when i can)

if you have time on your hands then sure do it. i dont have time, plus simple font will be easier to read i would guess

If I could make custom fonts, I would give it a try.  It doesn't have to be extravagant or fancy to be custom.  There are a few fonts that I liked, but would make some minor changes.

let me know when you get a design done. I am going to remove my gen7 decal because it is dying now. I like this site a lot better. reminds me of the old one and has a lot of hear with it ^^ nothing to fancy. Its like they say. don't fix it if it aint broken.

well yes and no. black would work on black. i would try to offer different colors

Oooh, I gotcha.  Do you have any pictures of the old decal and their applications?

ill post pic when i get home. i still have one or two that i didnt put on since i got it in summer
