Ryan, where have you been?  What's going on with your car?

Other Ryan, thanks!

I've been busy with work. The place I moved to doesnt allow me to work on my car. So ever since then I've slowly lost the desire to mod. I havent washed my car in over a year... Cry

I do want to get PU bushings for the front arms from hyperflex.

I know its an old thread but... any problems with using the matsushita ballasts? Would I need to seal them up or something? The retrofit source said these need to be sealed up and I think a member mentioned the ballast get water in them. Im looking to redo my setup eventually for a cleaner fit.

would running a plug that is one step hotter be better if he really wants to run 93?
23  K Series Performance / ECU, EMS, & Tuning / Re: The K-Pro Thread on: January 26, 2011, 12:24:23 AM
Yeah I might try to set it at 80 kpa because at that point its under high NA load and should be in open loop. This is the area that needs more fueling. My datalogs show open/closed in rapid oscillation and I don't want to run it leaner than it should. Have you checked out the new updates on Kmanager? I havent downloaded it since its only a beta version but the changes bring it up to Fpro standard.

I think the ctsc one might be a little better because it is on doug's personal car and he probably has spent good time/effort in tuning it. I dont know who tuned the other Kal tho.

Tim what is your closed loop threshold set at? Mine was at a default of 87kpa but sometimes it would stay in closed loop and sometimes it would be in open even though its the same throttle positions. My columns 7 and 8 can read 14.7 or 13.2 with the same load, I'm trying to make it have consistent fueling.
25  Suspension & Handling / Suspension & Chassis / Re: Pop when going in reverse on: January 19, 2011, 05:59:11 AM
its an auto and I've had the axles replaced probably 4 or so months ago. I'll see if its my ball joints. If it were my tranny/axles then it should make a pop when I put it in drive after right?
26  Suspension & Handling / Suspension & Chassis / Pop when going in reverse on: January 18, 2011, 08:54:52 PM
When I apply the brakes for the first time while in reverse I hear this loud pop. It only happens in reverse and am almost certain it is coming from the front b/c sometimes I can feel it in the steering wheel.

Any inputs to what it might be? I am on tein ss-p with a brembo bbk. I have inspected the various components in the wheel well and non see broken/loose or leaking.

Thoughts?

How is this holding up? BTW did you get the one for the sedan or is this the tsx one?
28  K Series Performance / Engine and Drivetrain Performance / Re: Comptech SC from TSX fits 7G? on: November 13, 2010, 04:50:40 AM
If I remember correctly you might have a problem with the idle air control valve. A notch needs to be cut in the mounting flange for the TB. I saw that the mounting flange in the installation guide looks like an 06+ intake manifold (TSX or ACCORD) instead of looking like an 03-05.

Looks like its touching your exhaust. Is that what is causing the vibration and noise? approx how heavy is it?
