Title: "So fresh and so clean clean"
Post by: alpha on March 18, 2013, 02:09:09 AM
I detailed the ///M this weekend, and decided to seize the opportunity of taking some pics while she's clean and freshly waxed..

Enjoy! and comments and criticism is always welcome!

Nice car, nice pictures but I'll say it again...you need to sharpen them a tad when you resize.  8-)

Fuckin' jizz-factor!  :P

Love the blue & red ///M series stitching  I've always wanted a M3 but knowing myself a little too well, she would be detailed until the paint flaked off and then parked into the garage and not moved haha

Thanks Milan!  I tried applying Output Sharpening - Low when I exported, thinking that would suffice.  I need to go back and resize on export, as I put too much faith on the flickr resize..

Thanks Ben!  Yeah, I'm the same way.  I enjoy detailing and keeping a car clean, which makes me want to keep it garaged so it doesn't get dirty.  But there is only one way to truly show all the hard work that went into the detail..

Your "garage" of various cars is astounding, Mark.  This ///M is no exception.  Happy Birthday bro.

Denny, I've never been a fan of Benz's until I rented a C-class two years ago in Florida and had it for a week. For being the base C-class it had everything I wanted and handled pretty good.  I pushed it up to 120 and it stuck to the pavement nicely. My next car will be a luxury car. I'm tired of buying a $30k car then spending another $8k-$10k in aftermarket parts just to make it nicer.

I'm talking about how I would have never considered a Benz. Yes, I know that Mark has an M3 but whatever. It was directed at Denny.

Mark it's a gorgeous piece of German engineering you got there. I truly love it. You know this already.

Technically, the 335i is still in the family.  I gave it to my parents.

Lol..  Now I understand the post in the Car Whores Thread.. haha..  No worries..

careful though Nelson, it's hard not to fall into the trap of buying a luxury car and not spending that same "$8k-$10k in aftermarket parts to make it nicer."  and Thanks!
