I have these Quad Retro headlights I purchased used. They are originally from HID Illusionz.
When I got them used there was a problem with the right hand headlight. One of the parts for adjusting
the alignment was stripped and it could not be adjusted. This left my right headlight aiming at the
ground about 20 feet in front of my car.

SO! to solve this problem I need to bake open my headlight and replace the broken part. Fortunately
I had already purchased a used oem headlight on ebay for 20$ (it had a broken mount) so I had a
replacement for the broken piece.

I decided that since I would be opening it up I might as well take the opportunity to clean the plastic
housing. but I can't just clean one headlight... So I decided to bake open and clean both.

Here are the pictures of the whole process.

My double sized ezbake cardboard oven.

pre-bake

1st headlight baked

2nd headlight baked

the problem area

ripped out the stripped piece

original sealed back

original seal removed

clean new sealed back (more flexible this time)

buffed out the interior of the housing with this

All sealed back up and ready to go

just installed and checking to make sure all the connections are correct

I FINALLY have correctly aligned headlights!!!
