Title: CD Changer Help!! Post by: LvaC03NyC on August 10, 2009, 04:36:43 PM Hello all...About 3 weeks ago I noticed that my cd changer wasn't ejecting reading or loading any cds. It doesn't even respond when I press the Cd player button. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. What made it stranger is I recently took a trip up to canada and my cousin has the same problem with his car and it happened to him about a month ago. I did some research and found a TSB out on it.
Honda TSB #03017 When I called American Honda the girl said that this wasn't an issue and that was just a code for the technician so that he would not have to troubleshoot anymore and it would not be covered under warranty. I had my whole unit replaced already about a year ago for the backlit problem so this is really starting to irritate me. I was just curious to know if anyone had this issue and if it was taking care of for free or not. Title: Re: CD Changer Help!! Post by: Abailey4 on August 10, 2009, 04:41:11 PM Sounds like it's fried to me. If nothing else I would invest in a aftermarket cd player and put it where the cubby is. Sounds like the only inexpensive solution.
