ok, well, i guess im getting it for looks then, lol. I have big plans for the frank, but honestly, who doesnt? I plan on keeping the accord for a long time, in part, because, it is a honda. second, I REALLY LIKE having a car that no one else has.......and if things happen the way I am planning, I am hoping to get up to 400hp with turbo and all the extras. Is it a bit much to hope for, yes. But, the looks on people faces when I beat a g35, for example, is priceless. Everyone can go and get an sti, or an evo, or a genesis, but I am more of a built not bought guy. So, until I get the frank done, Im working on all the loose ends, cuz once I get all the small things finished up, all thats left is all the big (and expensive) mods.....its just easier to do all the small things first. thanks for all feedback tho

Im almost certain i am getting the k-tuned fuel rail....reason for upgraded fuel rail is its just on the list of small shit to get before I get k-pro.....once i have k-pro, i plan on doing a Frankenstein, 24 bottom, 20 head......but thats two years down the road before that will be done
3  K Series Performance / Engine and Drivetrain Performance / Re: AFTERMARKET FUEL RAIL/ INSTALL on: October 11, 2010, 12:25:40 PM
just making some small upgrades before I get K-pro....

So, apparently, there are several companies that have aftermarket fuel rails for the 06 accord (k24a8)

First question is are there any brands that make a superior fuel rail? (i.e. the skunk2 composite vs. the k-tuned brand vs. aem....etc)

Second, are there any in depth install requirements, or should i just be able to unplug and plug stock and aftermarket?

I just replaced the egr valve, but how would I clean the tubing to it?
6  K Series Performance / Stock Motors, Transmissions, & Maintenance / Re: Check Engine Light Codes Discussion on: August 27, 2010, 10:21:32 PM
got a p0401 code that keeps coming up. I replaced the egr valve.....no dice, keeps coming back

+1      Mods keep coming, and yes, way overpriced....thnx for the info
k20.org for ecu already k pro'd, tt tim for contact with cham, and tune.......got it....thats such a relief, ive been going crazee trying to get this shit straight
8  K Series Performance / ECU, EMS, & Tuning / Re: Max Energy Sport Power Programmer on: August 26, 2010, 12:50:02 PM
well, you gotta get a custom harness....I asked cham for a price, and he didnt get back to me, so I had to get a quote from a mod shop. then you have to get the 06 rsx type s ecu, and have it k pro'ed, then you have get a tune and dyno......around here, at fort riley in ks, it will be a total of about 2800
9  K Series Performance / ECU, EMS, & Tuning / Re: Max Energy Sport Power Programmer on: August 26, 2010, 12:31:09 PM
True, and I am not dissing or hating on it. It is the shit. I am not implying otherwise......Im just saying, kpro is alot harder, and a whole lot more of your money. Yes, the payoff is huge, once you get there. I am just saying, for the price, versus stock......its worth a try....the worst that wil happen is you return it to stock settings, which is one of the perks of this....if you need to take it into honda for work, you push a button, and it goes back to stock for honda calibrations.

In perspective.......I have the greddy evoII exhuast, and I paid almost a grand, and got maybe 12 horsepower, with the cat delete.......so, if i can get 8 horsepower gain somewhere in the power band, for under 400 dollars....Im going to do it, evrytime

but again, k pro is the shit, and im not knocking it...but being a husband and a father of three, its going to be hard to justify 3 grand at one time to get k pro
10  K Series Performance / ECU, EMS, & Tuning / Re: Max Energy Sport Power Programmer on: August 26, 2010, 12:02:40 PM
HONESTLY, I doubt it...lol
Does hondata pay when you cant get k pro to run on an accord?
Same shit....is the outcome worth the trials and tribulations?
Seeing that nobody makes shit for an accord as far as plug n play(ish) Im willing to take a swing at it.....plus, what is going to fuck up more than issues honda has with stock shit? Im burning a quart of oil evry 1000 miles, but honda wont fix it......so I have to find a way to fix it myself.....Not saying hypertech is the shit, or that Im a genius.......but seeing the limitations on any type of tuning or reflash......under a grand total of thousands of dollars, like tryin to  run k pro...
pros outwiegh the cons to me personally
11  K Series Performance / ECU, EMS, & Tuning / Re: Max Energy Sport Power Programmer on: August 26, 2010, 10:42:40 AM
Hey, I know some of you guys are skeptical about this Hypertech, but Ive been on the beta list for about 5 months. They need to find an 05 accord to get calibrations from......Im pretty sure if someone wants to let them run cals on your 05, I can get you the hypertech for either around 150 dollars for running the beta for them, if not for free.......PM me if you are interested
12  K Series Performance / Bolt Ons / Re: ceramic vs stainless headers on: August 25, 2010, 09:19:33 PM
In my opinion, and what Ive read in researching, is that the ceramic cools quicker......I havent had any issues with my ceramic header.........and honestly....if your worried about how your header(s) look, you are doing that upgrade for the wrong reasons
13  K Series Performance / Bolt Ons / Re: pulley kits? on: August 25, 2010, 09:03:27 PM
So hey, simple question since you commented about your UR pulley set....how much ( guestimated) power did you think you gained? I have been eyeing them for about six months........
14  K Series Performance / Bolt Ons / Re: Dc Header/Flex pipe on: August 25, 2010, 08:57:33 PM
do you have a torque dampner on the engine...like an ingalls stiffy?
15  K Series Performance / Bolt Ons / Re: Thinking about Exhaust on: August 25, 2010, 08:51:27 PM
I have the Greddy evoII with a megan racing cat-delete....and I love the sound....it doesnt sound rice at all.

Of course, I have cai, intake manifold, and ceramic header, so im sure it helps the sound.
