headliner and a, b, and c pillars
«

has anyone recovered their headliner and or their pillars? i know someone has but i cannot remember who. anyway if anyone has done it, if you could please post up some pictures, the cost of everything(materials, labor[if someone else did it for you], and or how long it took you do to the job) that would be sweet. im looking to re-cover mine mainly because it's dirty and has a few small holes in it in the back of the car. and i don't think a gray headliner works well with an all black interior.
thanks!

I at one point wanted to re-do mine in black suede but other things got in the way. I know "Rich" ended up going through with it though.

All you need is the material, spray adhesive, and some patience dude. Can't be that expensive.

wasn't that much IMO. it was $300 for everything. that was so long ago and the glue is still holding up (compared to what others use the 3m 90 stuff at home depot, might sag over time)

Yeah I dont think $300 is bad at all for something like that. Especially including materials and labor, seems to be a decent amount of work in a tight area so $300 is
in my book.

I have to find a shop in NYC that can do that work for me. Since I smoke my cigs in the car my liner is a bit yellowish now and I spend $120 per summer to get that shit cleaned. I would rather re-line it with something like the 5th Gen had...

i dont know if i'd get them painted. the smell could stick into your cars carpets and headliner and that wouldn't be pleasant to smell every time i got into the car. look at getting suede or some other type of cloth upholstery.
