Haven't been on here in a while. Glad to see the site is still active and well.

And today, my transmission went out on my 05 Accord. 203,500 miles and it's completely gone.

Now I have to decide if I should replace it, have it rebuilt, or buy a new one. Hmmm...

Buy new! I've been there and regret not doing it. Junk yard tranny was $1400 including labor when I wad looking. Rebuild about $3400, and new from Honda installed was just over 4k. I went rebuild because its what the warranty I had paid for. It's been back three times. a buddy that went they junk yard route last year just had his go again. If you go used Paul once told me to look for an oddsey or pilot trans as they are less likely to be abused.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to start looking into it today as soon as I get a chance to call local dealerships / junk yards / transmission repair places. I also found that the 05 has a recall on the transmission for some reason so maybe I'll get lucky on that, but probably not.

I like the idea of buying a new one or a rebuilt, so I could get a warranty with it. I'm just not sure if it would be worth the money. We'll see what today holds. Thanks again.

I'll make this short and sweet. I'm locked out of my car. It's running and I don't have a spare. I have a lock out tool kit but I have no idea how to get back into my car. Any suggestions?

My girlfriend got this for me for Xmas and I just started playing it last week. I think I like MW2 better.

I bought my girlfriend a "hang-around ring". It's an expensive engagement ring minus the engagement. She wanted a ring and to get engaged, she got one of the two.

Netflix > Blockbuster

Netflix has become a powerhouse in the video renting world lately and I really think that they aren't going anywhere. Netflix keeps coming up with better and better ways for you to get movies. Instant streaming is amazing. With your 1 account you can stream off of anything, anytime. I watch movies on my PS3, Xbox, iPad, laptop, and my niece streams movies off my account from her iPod touch.

Blockbuster is coming out of bankruptcy and I'm pretty sure they aren't going to make it. Kiosk rentals has become a real competitor and it makes more sense from a fiscal standpoint. If you want to rent games, get GameFly.

I used to work at Movie Gallery part time, and even with free rentals there I still had a Netflix account. Netflix has an amazing selection of movies and it only takes about 1 business day to get your movies. Once and a while it takes longer but not very often, they are pretty reliable.

Another thing no one has mentioned is that Netflix's customer service is great. I called because I lost my envelopes to mail back my movies and they said "No problem, we'll just send out 3 more movies and just mail all 6 back when you're done". I haven't heard anything about blockbusters customer service but I can testify first hand how accommodating Netflix's CS is.

And the 28 day thing, it's not going to last, but that's just my opinion.

Question for you Tim..

One of the wires that runs into my amp only accepts a small wire, and the wire coming to it is a much larger wire. Originally it was taped with electrical tape putting the two together, but now that doesn't work anymore and I have no power coming to my amp. What can I do to remedy this?

Audio question...

I just replaced a headlight bulb, had to remove the battery to get to it. After I hooked everything back up I had to re-input my radio code (normal..) and now my stereo is pretending like there is not a CD player. It's reading my Denison IceLink hooked up with my iPod, and AM, FM, but no CD player? I have 6 discs in there and it's like it's just not there. Help? Suggestions?
