Depends on where you wanna go with the car....but common first mods are rims + drop...def necessary.

I totally agree  lower springs? Or wait for coilovers

Awww, i miss my SMR Coupe.  :'(

I say drop as well. Wait for some coilovers or get some Tein S. Tech's and Tokico Blue's.

Depends on your budget. If you can afford $800 for some good coilovers then go for it. If you don't want to brake your piggy bank then get springs. They usually run about $200 and up

Yea it looks like im going with springs for now.

i heared H&R are good. But alot of people from this forums say to get Tien S. whats the major differences between the two?

PS i want a pretty low drop

Wait for coilovers then.  Springs and shocks won't get you low enough.  Plus a good set of springs plus shocks can get pretty pricey too..

I have tein basic and i'm sitting on the floor. Forum members that seen my car can vouch for that  ;D .There real good and stiff so you don't bounce.

Ok I'm thinking I want to get the coilovers and a good set of rims and tires.

What's the best size of rims and tires best for performance?

Been looking at the 5zigen Fn01r black with polished lip.

Im trying to get the lowest most aggressive look.

Thank you

Again, all depends on your budget...but if you plan on an EXTREME drop, go with a 17" wheel, no wider than 8"; if you want to do a modest drop, I would recommend an 18" wheel, no wider than 8.5"

Tires, I would go with somewhere between a 215-245/30-50 tire for whatever size wheel you are looking for.  I am running an 18x7.5 wheel, +45 offset, with 225/40-18 tires and my setup is perfectly flush with my fenders and body lines.

All of this really depends on your taste, budget, and what you are going for.  Rules I would abide by on here: NO stretched tires!

Ye I've read around a lot and you dont have to worry about me and stretched tires. I'm looking for the best performance not trends.

check out the Black Market for sites on where to get good aftermarket products. As far as wheels go depends on the look you want. I like riding slammed and having my tires tucked under the fender so i roll with 19x8, 46 offset.

So, i figured out exactly what i want to do with my car.

I want to swap for the TSX engine (k24a2) + 6speed MT. This will require lots of saving since im just a broke college student  :(. so for now i want to start out with my wheels first and work my way up. Im going to get my Tien Basic coilovers and a exhaust setup ( header all the way back) and some nice wheels (thinking about the enkei ekm3 (gunmetal).

I was wondering if i got the dc ceramic header for my k24a4 will it bolt up with my future k24a2?

high flow cat? << What are my other options ?

Dual catback? or single?
personally i  like the look of dual better. But i will choose performance and sound over looks.

^^ for my exhaust question what would be the correct forum to post in?

The header will bolt up to the new engine. As for exhaust, so long as you have appropriate sized piping, you can go dual. The forum to ask that is in the K series bolt on section.

Another Toybaru in the mix. Congrats on the new ride Moe. If a third joins in on here we might have to create your own little corner.
