what is the different between the resonator? is one chambered an the other one straight through? or is it the density of the fiberglass packing?
The resonator on the Greddy Evo2 is a straight through design. I would assume that it is fiberglass packed. The "turbo tube" resonator is a lot larger in diameter and also a little longer. It is also fiberglass packed. It is a straight through design that has a baffle or wall for the exhaust to go around to reduce noise. It has made a significant difference, but it still wasn't quiet enough for me.

I don't have a CEL from the exhaust any more. I was getting a CEL before because of having a high flow cat. With 2 spark plug defoulers to back out the O2 sensor about 1 1/4". After that it went away completely. I have a CEL now because my secondary O2 sensor needs to be replaced and because half of my sensors aren't even connected to my ECU. It's kinda funny because I currently have 10 codes.

That's why I heart KPRO. You can essentially turn OBDII off
God I can't wait to make more money so I can pick up another EMS....

Haha, good luck with the future install, Timmy. At least you won't have to deal with those pesky P0420's anymore
So the Magnaflow 5400 series wont throw a code Skip? or am I completely missing something?

I'm keeping everything but the mufflers. I'm going to give all 3 Evo2 mufflers that I have to Mike as back ups since he has an Evo2 and I was given 2 of the mufflers for free. I will take donations from Mike if he wants though.

Thanks Scott. I actually found a shop around the corner from you and Skippy, but didn't have a chance to go there and talk to them. Anyway, the plan is to move before the end of the summer of 2010. Already started a moving fund savings account.

The code was taken care of with a spark plug defouler that spaces the O2 sensor about 1 1/4" out. Not sure what you need a parts list for or what parts you're looking for though.

I bought the spark plug defoulers at auto zone. The magnaflow cat that I have is a
54055
. It is a universal cat with no flanges. If you're looking for a bolt on replacement, you should talk to Keith (k.huston) and ask him which one we bolted on his car a few weeks ago.

Mine was about $75 shipped when I got it. I forgot the seller, but I called him up and he was awesome about shipping and what not.

Got my mufflers installed today at Enhanced Street Performance. I was expecting this to be a fairly quick install from my previous exhaust shop experiences, although this was the first time I've gone to this shop. It took a bit longer than I had expected for a muffler install, but I'm glad that it took so long. The pictures will be enough to show the difference from a fast exhaust install compared to an exhaust install done properly. I am very happy with the professionalism of the shop and the quality of their work, and above all I am extremely happy with my exhaust. It has finally mellowed out and I no longer have that obnoxious drone in the cabin. Here's the pics.
Before
It's hard to see the DS tip because of the shadow, but it's off center just like the PS.
Here it is up on the lift so you can see what the last shop did to modify the Greddy Evo2.
Old Greddy Evo2s removed
Goodies about to be installed
Magnaflow mufflers
Mandrel bent exhaust pipe
Exhaust mocked up
Passenger Side
Both Sides
Removed and welds finished
Final tweaking and positioning
Final position (for now)
