Yeah 245/40/18 has a rim width range of 18x7-18x9, but 245/35/18 is limited to 18x7.5-18x9 so you officially have the narrowest wheel approved for that size. You juuuuuuust made it :). It's worth the extra footprint, I just wouldn't kill it in the corners.

damn i guess the dude on import atlanta is trying to screw me he wants to trade strait up for the grams with brand new ires for his hfp's with almost gone tires i told him to add some on his end and am waiting for a response


 For a 17x7 what tires size would yall recomend?

i've always liked those hfp silverstars and marks sedan looks so clean with them on it.....if i didnt live in south florida and had to buy another set of wheels for winter thats what i would buy......JT im sure could recommend the best size tire for you^^^^^i think most people run 245/45/17 on there 17's Huh?

I had gunmetal TL 5 spokes with 245/45/17 and they looked too beefy plus they require 8" of width or more. ON the HFP 17x7s I'd do 225/45/17 or 235/45/17 :P

Sparrow, last night out where everyone hangs out here i talked to a guy that has a set on the work vs-xx's he said he would sell them if i or anyone i knew wanted them he said the tires on them have been on there a month but he would put brand new tires on them
