JPipe & Test Pipe

I'm looking into get thing the Rv6-P J-pipe and test pipe. I know a lot of you have them and i was wondering if your CEL ever comes on because of it, because if I'm not mistaken it removes a cat. And i was wondering what was the difference between the Test pipe and the race pipes.

I personally have it, and the 3rd cat is pretty much there to deaden the exhaust sound. You can remove the 3rd cat without having CEL goes off. A test pipe still has the honeycomb inside it to deaden the sound of the exhaust. A racepipe is strictly a straight pipe with no honeycomb or any type of material inside it to deaden the sound. I would definitely get the J-pipe and test pipe. If you have emission testing, I would get the test pipe. The test pipe looks like a cat. So, the guys looking for it will see what looks like a cat instead of a straight pipe.

We have the J-pipe and the test pipe on Gen's Accord and it's a great performance mod for the money. No codes are thrown because there are no sensors aft of the modifications.

Rob, I've got both as well. I installed them the same time I installed the cat-back, so I can't give you any info on power difference but Bob Marley said it best "Don't worry about a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right... (with the addons.)

Exactly,
the exhausts that are made for the coupes are a 98% direct fit onto the 7.5 sedans.
the 2% mis fitment is at the tailpipes because they not full centered with the exhaust cutout, but an exhaust shop can fix it pretty easily.
I recommend the borla cat-back due to price, quality and excellent sound. it's loud enough to make you happy but low enough to be able to drive 21 hours straight with no headache.

What do they have to do to get it to fit properly? add or remove some pipe? or just bend it to be centered?

just heating up and bending a bit. but
Look at this pic, it's the photoshop that I did of my "prototype" from my profile. look at the exhaust and you'll see what I'm talking about:
