1  Electrical / Audio Systems / Adding the iPhone interface to a HU w XM & WMA player on: January 01, 2010, 09:13:19 PM
The Griffin iTrip seems to do the job. But since I live in Orlando, FL every other channel has a signal hitting. I was able to get some good reception, except for a hizzing noise, on 89.5

Since I learned the lesson in the hard way, I'll install the interface. Now I have a question: current setup has the XM service and WMA player which is CDP. Can I add the interface w/o losing the XM radio and the player? Please advise...

I tried this morning to visit the DA forum and it is down. Does any one knows what is going on?
3  Electrical / Headlights, Tail Lights, HID's, LED's, & Other Lighting / Re: Angel Eyes Help on: October 11, 2009, 08:59:45 AM
If i ever do a headlight upgrade it will be the Inspire. Also as Tim mentioned, Halo Headlights are a waste of money. Not only they have poor output but when the halo light got burn, you are stuck with them unless you switch back to originals. Having said that, good luck with your quest but I concur with the others: Halos are not for Hondas! Smiley

Regarding the other cars with the "Halos", I think he refers to the Audi S4 (?) where it got a LED trim below the headlamps.

they look nice but trimming the bumper, i'm not such a fan. since you need everything, i will do OEM or ebay + oem parts. still your choice...

I was practicing rev matching today. It is really fun when you are driving and when you do it correctly the car feels so smooth, But it still feels weird since you are reving to change gears to slow u down. lol going to go practice some more I am really scared that I might shift to the wrong gear.. + 3rd popping out doesn't help me either.

Need a GM Syncromesh for the tranny or the 3rd gear TSB.

Mine is like that. You will not regret the decision. Now throw tint ASAP! It gets REALLY HOT inside. It could be because the black interior. Also CONGRATS on the car...!!!

Found this on ebay. Claims all the metal particles will stay into the plug, extending the oil life. Too good to be true, correct?

See the plug

Clutch click, third gear grind (there was a TSB, so you could check if that was performed), and then the normal stuff.. repairs, maintenance, etc.. remember, not everything shows up on carfax..

+1 they might have also replaced or rebuilt the transmission so look into this also. It is also normal for the clutch to be high (you have to almost take your foot off the pedal for it to move).

Mine is lower, like 2 inches from the floor, since I got the car. Can be both...

2 things:
a> Why you kept the original millage on the upper gauge? Does not display into the S2K cluster?
b> What are the digital numbers on the left side?

Interesting concept, but the amber reflector in the headlight housing kinda fucks things up.

True statement. I need to find out how to change the reflector to a clear one.

arent yellow highbeams annoying?

No, actually light goes farther and better visibility under rain. In FL I think you can use it without issue.

After a "trial & error" with the Polarg, I found 2 1157 bulbs in yellow for $6.50 + S&H. I installed them today and the look is incredible: Yellow High Beams + Yellow Fogs + Yellow Park.

Here are some pics:

Left - Yellow

Right - Amber Sylvania
