This is pretty sick. And I thought you were going to get rid of the Accord. I love it.

Very purdy! Glad to hear that you didn't get rid of it. I'm still loving the light and dark color scheme

Wait, I was just looking at the pics and saw over spray and the plastic, what's up with that?

Edit: I guess I should have read the thread before asking, since others already have :/.

Looks great, I am just wondering what was repainted

The overspray was due to the painter. He sucked at painting, but outside came out alright. I'm really not satisfied with it, and yes, he did suck at masking off the car. The reason the mirrors are still silver is because the painter did not want to remove them since the wires are soldered together and not plugged in. I will be taking the mirrors off shortly to have them painted. I will be going back in 3 weeks for the painter to fix everything.

As for the whole transmission issue, it was never broken.

Seriously, it is not impossible, but hard to get that paint off the coarse plastic. I would raise hell and have them PAY to replace all those pieces. I would never accept a job like that. I am not trying to be a dick, but you are entitled to certain benefits when paying thousands of dollars to have a car painted and one of them is that they mask shit off the right way. I mean seriously, it is not even my car and it is bugging the shit out of me that they treated it like a drive through paint service. UGH!

^Thien doesnt seem to be one to accept shoddy work so I'm guessin the price must have been really hooked up that he would take delivery with all those issues. However he did say he was goin back to have everything taken care of though.

Yeah, I am going back to have the guy fix everything, and I really only paid $600 to get it painted. He has had my car for 2 weeks, and I really need the car back. So, I just said whatever and paid him. I told him I will be back to have him wetsand and buff all the imperfections on it as well as clean on the all the crap work he did.
